  1. I dunno. If we bug them enough it might. At this point, Nintendo might do SOMETHING. You never know.

    Bottle on B

Sorry, didn't catch the "3d" on there. Who knows what caused that then. There's a billion glitches started by dropping and picking up a bottle of bugs...
  3. What was with young Link having a :3 face? LOL Also, the beta Kakariko textures look to have been reused and HD'd for the 3DS version. That's really awesome. Also, the Kokiri sword's model never looked like that old icon did it?

    Bottle on B

You said you played the song, and "Did something" What was the something? With something as complex as OoT everything is important. Also, were you playing on a cart?
  5. I assume it will. Nintendo is really good about making their games animate nicely.
  6. Sounds like they haven't gone into too much detail with Link's voice yet
  7. I've got a little time if you want to shoot a patch my way!
  8. Oh dang! I have only heard "Money" by these guys! Only music I like in this genre but this is awesome!
  9. Another new topic by me! If anyone ever wants to take all my stupid questions and pile them into one topic, feel free. Otherwise, here we go. I was messing with the N64 Animal Forest rom, and after decompressing it I got like 3000 something files. I sorted them by size assuming the largest one would be either models or code since it was built on the OoT engine (confirmed by the game crashing on console because it was trying to set the time for some reason, and the OoT debug code working as well as there being a map select exactly like OoT's) I opened a few in a hex editor to see if there was anything I recognized, and I came across this: I also found arrows, face shapes, and some other odd things in here, and since OoT has some textures in this raw format, I wondered how one would go about viewing them. I assume they use a palette because the ones in zelda that look like this are like Link's eyes which of course use a palette. I would really like to check these out if I could get some help!! EDIT: I was messing with it a little bit more, and I noticed this on accident while hovering over my paint icon. Definitely resetti. Honestly looks like an early version of him too. I'm even more eager to figure this out!
  10. @mzxrules I tried that, but it only has the RAM addresses, and not even for the Debug Rom.
  11. I know! lol I've been doing a lot of projects at once, and it's gotten into a state of disarray.
  12. Okay, so for example, would I want to take the 801C7951 for the R of the A button, and subtract 0x0001CE60 from that to find the offset from the beginning of code? (of course, take the 80 off of the beginning since that denotes a virtual location.)
  13. I can reproduce this every time, but it doesn't stay on the screen for more than about 3 seconds. Was anyone aware of the debug bar actually drawing to screen on emulators?
  14. I know this has been a long time, but I am having a really hard time finding the A and B buttons ROM addresses for colour. I've done what was said above and once I modified the values and nothing happened, the second time on a copy of the same clean rom crashed the game. I'm thinking I obviously had the wrong addresses.
  15. I don't know how you feel about this, so I hope you take it as a compliment, but this sounds like the newer, redone music in Runescape. Which is pretty fantastic. Good enough that they hired Jagex, sound crew included to make a Lord of the Rings game.
  16. That is quite possibly the most useful thing ever for this exact moment. I'm working on a dungeon and needed some stuff. My girlfriend's making my other textures, but she's not too great with the colour restrictions yet. THANK YOU!
  17. Dang, for and SDK that's a fairly large file! Their libs must be insane.
  18. The N64 and Dolphin SDKs were leaked pretty soon after the consoles were launched. The 3DS has been around long enough. I think it's about time we get some insight.
  19. Just curious, what do you mean by "fix ending cutscene"?
  20. That's cool. A long time ago I made a code for OoT before we knew about map select. It combined the use items anywhere with the ability to turn the interface on and off as needed and a value that determined the object set in the scene. You could use Farore's Wind to warp anywhere including into cutscenes that link could normally not appear in (like the end credits or goddess cutscene without appear in strange places code) Problem is, it was a bit unstable on the actual gameshark, probably because mine was old, and worked perfectly on emulator. It would be cool to patch that to rom and make my own debugging tools for a mod.
  21. Reminds me of the Elite 4 theme. With a rather...well... windy feel to it. I like it.
  22. Now that it's been a while again, I wanted to see if anyone ever got any farther on the debugger activator. I have the debug rom working on my ED64 and have found some interesting crashes I want to check out.
  23. Really? I did NOT know that! I guess it stopped working cuz I moved it over to 3 for the debug camera. EDIT: Any ideas as to what I can do to get the MM Debug rom to stop running so poorly on hardware? Music sounds awful, sometimes way too fast, some of the graphics are blacked out too. ANOTHER EDIT: I got everything but the sound to work properly. Some things just corrupt for some reason unless you have 4 controllers plugged in. Skipping or walking in cutscenes still does not work though. Discovered some new debug screens!!! Logged all new information on a pastebin here -->> http://pastebin.com/VWHx5zBc
  24. So, back to the original subject here, I got the debug rom to work on the ED64. Anyone know what causes the map select to disable sometimes? If so is the only way to fix it a reset? Also, I've found a few weird things. A few ways to crash the game that are a bit odd that I wish I could look into, and some signs that just refuse to cut. Anyone have any luck on that debug code for this rom? EDIT: Found out how to fix the map select thing. Just always stop the intro scene and LRZ there. EDIT AGAIN: Never mind. It stopped working for some reason... Also, pressing start while pressing L R and Z makes a purple square come up on the keypress indicator.
