N64DD Hacking thread (2 BIOS versions included + 64DD IPL(j) Rom!)
Mallos31 replied to Rcj8993's topic in Modifications
Guys. We need to find the roms for N64 Polygon Maker! That would be awesome. Just sayin'. -
Thanks! I've never even heard of that! I have a story line going about the pokemon war and Kanto's secret projects and even MissingNo. I have the whole story mapped out, and I'm adding it to the game that already exists. And I'm wanting to kill the glitches that made the game beatable in like 4 minutes Thanks for the info! Now back to xdan!

You might look for that windwaker textures mod if you're trying to edit. If you're trying to get the original textures, then that won't help at all.

Well, I know that pressing a c-button or putting an item on one calls a function, so perhaps someone could write a new function to a code cave? Not me though. LOL I'm still learning MIPS. (I can't wait til I can do stuff like that though ^.^)

Hey xdan, where are you watching all of these shows? I find it difficult to find the full series of untranslated anime.

You know, it just hit me. In restoring the betas, and making our own mods, we're creating our own beta content. Our own mysteries that no one will ever see but the development team. It's so surreal. I like it.

I'll do it! I got a gamepad for the computer just for this! (And URA when it comes out)

Well, I'm simply trying to get better at programming in general. But my current goal is to figure out how to get started on my Pokemon game. I already have all the tiles and sprites from Fire Red that I want to use, plus a few I made myself, so I figure I need to create some sort of tool to help me make maps, and events. I honestly don't know where to start though. I figure it would look something like xdan's gameboy tile editors, but I need to come up with my own map format too. Which I'm working on. I've actually written a good part of the engine, but that was just for text based battles, and with tackle and a few status changing moves and stuff. So I have a loooong way to go.

Pffffff at least you can START projects! I keep trying, and getting stuck right at the beginning. I'm getting somewhere finally, but it's haaaaaard.

Bahaha there is NEVER too much FMA!

Is...is that a firebreathing sheep wearing high heels and pantyhose standing on a transmutation circle? Cuz... that's what I'm seeing.

The Official Post Your Ugly (or Not-so Ugly) Mug Topic
Mallos31 replied to Shadow Fire's topic in The Central Hub
Well, here's one of my when I was 18, and I was wearing a bunch of hats I found (A lot more than you can see in the pic) And this one was taken around a week ago when I got my new glasses. And there's my damn ugly face. -
I know you said those screenshots were not final, but just in case they're even a little bit final, I might suggest tiling those bricky textures a little more stretched. It may be just me, but it looks a little off to me.

I never found Navi too useful. She got pretty annoying, and really, her only use is the escape the forest glitch. But I just like how Fi has a big part in the story. If I had to choose, it would be neither. Tatl is like Navi, but she actually takes part in the story, and has a personality. Both Fi and Navi state blunt facts. They're like floating encyclopedias, and that's no fun. And Navi doesn't gain any personality until the very end, when you're fighting Ganondorf. Fi's personality is very robotic, but it does slowly grow. I dunno.

I shall use this! I'm working on fixing Quest64! And it's F3DEX

A good game has balance. Monsters that get more difficult as you progress, and puzzles that do the same. I can't really say what KIND of puzzles, because I'm not good at making them, only solving them.

I know it's better than Voice. I just didn't think of it

I had some weird thing happen once, on the gamecube version, where after I got the light arrows, anytime I shot any type of arrow, the game would make a weird high pitched sound, tell me I was out of magic, no arrows would come out, and then the count would go down. Even when there were zero arrows left, it would do this, and just loop around to 255 arrows and start again. I know this doesn't answer your question, but it does mean that the light arrows tend to behave rather...interestingly...

In no particular order: 1. Kira (Death Note) 2. L (Also Death Note) 3 Edward Elric (Fullmetal Alchemist) 4 Valentinez Alkalinella Xifax Sicidabohertz Gombigobilla Blue Strdivari Talentrent Pierre Andri Charton-Haymoss Ivanovici Baldeus George Doitzel Kaiser III (a.k.a. Vash the Stampede from Trigun) 5 Death the Kid (Soul Eater) And that's all I can think of right now

Hmm. I noticed that too. Thought it was just a bug in UoT. Then I saw it in OZMAV and thought it couldn't be. It's strange though. Because it has it's own scene, but it DOES line up pretty well!
-
Absolutely no idea. But she said beating Spirit Temple fixes the glitch, so apparently there is one!
-
Absolutely love the first Deathnote opening, And for some reason, I really really love this: Mainly because it was the coolest theme from my childhood.
