Pretty sure you're getting the EzCAP and the EasyCAP mixed up. The EasyCAP is a Chinese version of the EzCAP, Nyan. That is the real version. That is the Chinese version. They look the same, but one says EzCAP, and the other says EasyCAP. Mine also had rainbows recorded >.>

God damn Twihards D:

I'll be perfectly honest, don't waste your time with the Easycap. I couldn't even get an NES game recorded with good quality. The Dazzle is good, but if you want to be able to record in highest quality, you need to get an HD PVR.

I remember watching 6 months ago, it was pretty good

@Xdan That really sucks. We over here in NY, have wayy too many grocery markets to count. We've got a local chain, called Wegmans. There's at least 5 within 5 miles of my house! Not to mention, we have 4 other grocery markets all in this 5 mile radius. As such, the competition keeps the prices relatively low, so it's good for us consumers. Maybe you should come over here . Actually, all the markets are good for different things. Specifically, Wegmans has the best meat. A place called Tops has the best bakery. Price Chopper has the best produce. You kind of have to go to all of them for the best quality stuff.

The past, change what's needed to create the perfect future (God I'm playing too much Timesplitters: Future Perfect >.>) TV or Youtube?
-
Why am I not surprise that you of all people got this? XD It just reminds me of our old days when we were going to "make" an N64DD emulator.

While I don't really see either as practical... I actually honestly can't say. Point is, don't take a class just because you like video games and their products. That makes just as much sense taking Italian because you like pasta. If you enjoy Persian poetry and their ancient courses, but won't actually be able to use the language practically, take an Ancient Civilizations class and read books up on it. There has got to be better things to take as a language. If your mind is determined on taking one of these two languages though, I cannot give an opinion.

Well, considering I got mine free (won it in a contest), I see no reason not to play it. The thing is, I thought you thought the beta was amazing?

Jeez, I didn't that this topic would draw this much attention. Honestly, opinions can be opinions, not one is more right than another. If you like COD: BO2, that's cool. That's not the point of this topic. The main reason why I'm so upset about this is because that this series is made by the same people who really started the console FPS. In other words, it was made by the same people who made Goldeneye. Yes, technically it was made by Rare, but the development team from Rare who made it actually branched off and became known as Free Radical Design, who we know as the people who created the Timesplitters franchise (They later were bought by Crytek, and became known as Crytek U.K.). Let's face it: COD is a LOT more popular on consoles rather than computers. Hell, that's why they moved CoD to consoles; because it was more popular. You can take it my way or you can take it Shadows way. But you still cannot deny that COD has a huge effect on the FPS market, if not, the whole game market.

!IMPORTANT! Prevent mods from freezing on some emulators.

Honestly, TimeSplitters has always been an original franchise, I just hate to see it go :/

Well, wait. I have a problem with the MMO aspect of it, not the fact of playing with friends. I wouldn't mind playing it with my friends.

This news is going to hurt my brother a lot. He has been looking forward to TS4 for a VERY long time. With the lack of time he has for video games anymore, he was actually going to take some time off for when it came out and hang out with me to play it. I'm losing my brother everyday and this makes it this much harder to be with him.
-
Definitely not looking forward to this. While I'll still probably get it, it does not appeal to me at all. I mean, what's next? A Final Fantasy MMO? Here's my big problem with it: Elder Scrolls has always been a single player game. I simply cannot wrap my head around the fact that other people could be fighting the same monster as me in The Elder Scrolls. I -like- being the hero that everyone loves because I killed the big bad evil guy. I don't want to have to share that fame with other people.

Sorry, there's more than one article regarding the development halt. Here you go

Thanks, Call of Duty! You successfully ruined a pretty good franchise. On April 30th, 2012, an article was posted about the development of Timesplitters 4. Or, rather, the non-development. Timesplitters was a huge part of my life when I was younger. I remember my brothers friends coming over and playing TS2 on our Gamecube, then later playing TSFP on our XBox. I was excited to hear that a Timesplitters 4 was suppose to be in development, but to no avail, it will never come out. Reason why? Call of Duty. Apparently, nobody wants to publish a game that isn't Call of Duty. At least, not an FPS. Too risky, apparently. People need to realize what Call of Duty has done. It has literally erased a franchise from being made. It's not even like Call of Duty is a good series. Boring, repetitive. I admit to like Call of Duty 4, but that's it. The rest have ruined the industry. Call of Duty, please gtfo.

Is it sad that I scored under 800 under the lowest settings? Well, I won't care too much. This computer is relatively old and is a laptop. My desktop will defiantly be able to handle it.

Oh god, another MMORPG that I'll play for a little while for free then start paying for because I get bored fast ._. I should get a paying job...

Due to the fact that we are not allowed to have an official IRC here, I have created one due to the fact that a few people on the Shoutbox wanted one (and probably more). Normally, I would use Freenode. But most clients cannot connect to Freenode, and since their ToS doesn't allow open chat, I instead chose BlabberNet. Connecting to the IRC channel: 1. Connect to irc.blabber.net (Port 6667) 2. Enter this command in the chat box: /j #thegcnunofficial 3. Enjoy the chat room! If you want to register your nickname: (Recommended) 1. Type /nickserv register <password> <email> 2. Go to your email, open your email from Blabber, and follow the instructions in the email. The channel has been registered to me, so if you have any problems feel free to contact me. Also, any bickering within the chat will not be permitted to spill into the site as requested by Shadowfire. Have fun guys! Rules of the chatroom: Follow all The GCN Rules No flaming or spamming Keep out all hate speech In regard to the rule above, do not talk about touchy subjects, like religion and government. Simply follow these rules and all will be good!

If you do it, I'll do it right after XD

Ohey Dark Link-77! You probably don't remember me too well.

Wow, the website looks -really- good!

For a 16 color image, you need to set up a palette. You can do this with GIMP or Irfran View. You can find tutorials to do that on the web.

If you're willing to host on your own site, you could try http://flowplayer.org It might be a little hard to configure, haven't used it myself. But it'll probably be worth it in the long run.
