I can't believe I didn't think of using TRP texture pack... >_> many thanks haha
-
Hi guys, I was wondering if there were any readily available basic texture packs that have a collection of the original textures for Ocarina of Time? Or a collection of similar textures that look similar to the originals at least? I'm delving into map making and realised I don't have any textures dumped, and don't fancy having to trawl through the game to build up my collection. Thanks in advance.

Is there a tutorial out there on how to make your own maps and import them?
The Tjalian replied to KevinB834's question in Q & A
How did you make the ground raise like you did? I've been trying for the past 20 minutes figuring out how to do it and gotten nowhere. You seemed to be using keyboard shortcuts or something so I couldn't even follow it in the tutorial. Sketchup tutorials on Youtube are fucking useless, NOBODY covers how to do this very basic thing, which is completely ridiculous. The best I can do is select each individual polygon and move that up and down, I can't seem to select a bunch of polygons and move that up and down like you do. EDIT: Okay figured out how to move them like you do in the tutorial... is there a way of making them move along just one specific axis at a time? I'm finding it very hard to control which axis they move along, and having to "trial and error" when moving vertices along and praying I've moved it across the right axis... very annoying when I'm trying to make indents and all I'm doing is just moving the vertex to the right or something instead. EDIT: (removing all rants) this sums up my current situation quite nicely EDIT: For the next 5 minutes, this is the greatest thread in my life right now: http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/sketchup/thread?tid=1fa5f802e749a000&hl=en -

I have to say, I'm glad someone else asked that question. I've been meaning to for a while and now I know, haha. EDIT: BTW, do you need Sketchup Pro to use maps, or can you just use the free version? Alternatively, is there anything the Pro version offers which can help you make maps better or easier? -
Holy moly, Our Lady Peace. That's a band I haven't heard of for a long time! One band, who's definitely one of my all time favourites, has to be Sevendust. And yet, not many I know have heard of them... maybe they're popular in the US, but even most of my friends in the states haven't heard of them.

Haha, thanks dude

Welcome to the forums, Mr. Star!

I guess I might as well introduce myself

Har har! The lurkers eventually come out and announce themselves, now you've fallen into the trap and continue to post here! Welcome -
As long as my pay cheque isn't so bad I can probably donate between $10-$20. It comes in on Friday so I should know by then.

I have to say, I don't get why the scene is relying on the hands on the few flash card manufacturers when I bet there's an easy enough work around with a softmod exploit similar to the homebrew channel and the bannerbomb method on the Wii... Just makes more sense yo.

I have the Nokia Lumia 800, with Orange. it's a Windows Phone that's not yet available in the US, only in Europe so far.

Haha, I like this idea actually

Nintendo's E3 Press Conference Details (Starting with Wii U) (EDIT) [E3 2011]
The Tjalian replied to Niosai's topic in News
True... although the art design for Link is totally different, looks more akin to Zelda 1 rather then Ocarina's own Link. Not to mention the fact that Nintendo was aiming for a Zelda 1-esque game at first, judging by the very first trailers. -
I would like to see this movie, it sounds very chocolatey.
-
Means you are unable to drink Milk, or things with Milk in them, such as chocolate. If you want to kill someone who is lactose intolerant in the tastiest way possible, drown them in melted milk chocolate. I'm John Champion, and this has been your daily PSA.

Play as Princess Zelda in ALTTP...

That's some really awesome attention to detail man. Very nice -
Revoted with MHT.

Oh wow, Coded Arms. That takes me back a fair few years! I really must pick up a copy of that. Fair enough, though. I miss the freely rotating camera in Skyward Sword Only thing the game lacks IMO, although it's absence isn't that bad.
-
Really? Oh fair enough. I've got like a 2-3 year gap on Ocarina hacking progress so there's tons of stuff I don't know about
-
Yeah, you've got some good points there. Although in regards to FPSes, I still prefer the touch screen method used in MPH. However, having a controllable camera in Zelda a la Wind Waker? Yes please
-
For what it's worth, I voted Sheik too haha. Although Dark Link would have been pretty neat.

I'm kind of torn. I want it to be utilised in more games, as a second stick is always a win. However, the circle pad pro accessory seems a little off and I don't like the idea of spending another £150 on hardware just for a couple of extra upgrades.
-
Ah, my bad. It is (according to wikipedia). My confusion must have come from the fact that it's being bundled with a third party game (Monster Hunter 3G).
