Hi All, I know JSA is working on ZLE3 but I am unsure if it will ever be released because I know he is super busy. I posted the source in the Downloads area for 2 reasons: 1) These things tend to be lost over time so if we put it here, we can keep it 2) They are still nice programs that someone can use to add on or create new spinoff programs from Keep in mind it has to be approved so it may be a minute before the link is up Here is the link

Its the water actor itself that sends you to the well, not the collision at the bottom. That doesnt fix my problem but it was an observation I had. It is actually causing 2 problems: 1) You can jump in the well before you should be able to 2) Once you leave the well, that same water is bringing you back into the well creating a loop For problem 2, I came up with a more simplistic solution. Since it would be very difficult to modify the actor and/or change its position throughout the scene (for various reasons) I just decided to leave the water as it is required anyway. I simply moved Link's spawn point from leaving the Well to Kakariko outside of the well and away from the well itself therefore eliminating the loop and keeping the water as it sits. For problem 1: As far as going in the well too early, I will find a creative solution for that (like boulders or something)

Well thats easy enough I suppose. I will use a workaround as you suggest I will probably use a boulder (or group of them)

The water is supposed to stop you from reaching to bottom (the exit) collision but as you can see, Link falls through the water as if it wasnt there. I simply changed the pointer that the collision has to the exit itself (scene file). So for instance, It was something like 0098 (well child, day) and I changed it to take you somewhere else: (0024 Room 119). The issue seems to be that the water isnt making Link float. I have verified that the water actor has the proper values/group as a clean copy of the ROM. When you jump into the water, the water is supposed to stop you from touching the exit (because you have to come back later and play the song of storms to make the water go away). If it is helpful, here are the Spot_01 scene and map files Any insight you can give would be appreciated. Otherwise I will have to scrap all of Kakariko and start from scratch.

I did change the exit variable (where it takes you) but nothing else. Plus the exit value at the bottom of the well ISNT the bottom of the well dungeon but somewhere totally different. If you jump in with no water, then you are taken to the other place (its a secret). So basically if I remove that water actor, I drop down and go to the intended exit (which is not the well dungeon) but with the water actor there, it takes you to the well dungeon. Does that make sense?

Thanks! I am showing my ignorance, but how would I locate the exit polygon? There is no collision anywhere near the actor in question (waterbox).

Hi All, I am looking at a specific issue that I cannot narrow down. It has to do with the waterbox inside the Karariko well as a child. The actor is unedited and I have confirmed that the collisions for the well arent modified. When you jump in as a child, the water doesn't catch you, it lets you fall through and takes you to the well (which is kind of a problem). I am open to any suggestions. I have modified the room and scene but never touched the collision of the well or the waterbox actor (to my knowledge). Here is a video of the phenomenon: Any ideas or advice would be REALLY appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Current issues reported by beta testers: 1) Grammatical issue with Zelda's convo about Ganon FIXED 2) MAJOR GLITCH!!!! I cant escape WELL. when i exit it sends me right back inside (you made the entrance to be in the kakariko village guard house right as a child??? well it's stuck in a loop) Moved Linked Spawn point outside of the well once you exit - FIXED 3) Text from owl by lake hylia (not in) goes outside box FIXED 4) heart peice in gerudo valley by crate is too high. Can't get it w/out boomerang FIXED 5) Carpenter above the (not yet formed shooting gallery in kakariko as a KID)...his text goes WAY out of text box FIXED 6) Well water does not stop you from going into the Well dungeon For now blocked with boulders. Once you have bombs, you can complete this dungeon. 7) Minor texture glitch on one of the unreachable mountain walls in Gerudo Valley It doesnt affect gameplay at all so I likely will get to this last 8) Text alignment issues I will get to this after all major bugs are addressed 9) Gilded Tree's text overflows the box in the line "Ganon seeks....." FIXED 10) The song in kokiri forest has one VERY loud horn sound that repeats during most of it that is too high pitched and overpowers the other instruments and it doesnt loop. This is a little out of my area of expertise. Anyone have any thoughts or notes on how to fix? 11) Still managed to accidentally fall down the well without a bomb. May want to move the boulder down. FIXED 12) Kakariko Carpenter walks through the wood pillars! FIXED - Thanks xDan! 13) Tree in Kakariko there at night, but not during the day. I presume you turned it into the boulder for the well, because there is no boulder during the night. FIXED boulders not there at night -

Hi All, First off ***SOME SPOILERS ARE GOING TO BE IN HERE*** Now that's out of the way.... So I figured I would make an official topic page on this and post any progress I have made. As you all probably know this a a complete plot rewrite with alot of changes. As I continue this mod, I will continue to add to this pages with screenies, etc. The main plot: You are the last remaining piece of a powerful fallen God. To protect yourself as a child you must steal the three shards of the Triforce (power, wisdom and courage) and hide in the Temple of Time until such a time as you are strong enough to take on the ultimate Evil! Throughout your travels you will see that much has changed from the Hyrule you knew from previous play throughs. Many items and powerups were stolen and relocated by an infamous band of thieves known as the Order of Chaos. Many of the treasures are sprinkled throughout the world but some of the most valuable are kept in the arduous Riddle of Time Dungeon. Can you find it?....Can you beat it? Here are a few screenies:

Three_pendants, I read the weapon length documentation and it gives addresses but it does not mention what they mean or how to modify them. Do you have any additional information?
