I found his email posted in an old forum. We will see if it is valid and if he is willing (or still has) the source to give us
-
I could have SWORN I tried that. Meh, too late to try it tonight but will give it a crack later. I hope I am using the latest version...(the one on your program list topic)
-
Shot JSA a PM about it. Who knows maybe we will be lucky and he still has it. If memory serves it was written in VB

haddockd replied to giadrosich's question in Q & A
Nicely done. Very informative -

Ocarina Of Time ~ Debug ROM ALL Fixs ~
haddockd replied to â–²ChriisTiianâ–²'s topic in Modifications
This post is 2 fold: 1) Bump 2) Can anyone even confirm that this patch worked in the first place? It would be a shame for me to waste time looking for something that didnt even work...lol -
Anybody still use zre (zelda resource extractor)? Or is there a better way to get the files out of the rom to work with them? Or is that even how you kids mod these days? lol
-
I am actually on the machine where it would be now...and I dont have it I had to email jsa directly to get it...and of course I dont know his email because that was YEARS ago.
-
Be careful as it does have its major drawbacks. I thought that SharpOcarina has more of the functionality of UoT anyways...is that not correct?
-
I DID have it at one point. I can look on my home PC's to be sure, but I highly doubt that I do. I will post it if I can find it though.
-
Jason777, Any way of getting brief descriptions in that post so folks know what those programs do? Many of them do not have names descriptive enough to be useful. Also what is LACE?
-
This is what I am talking about! Fantastic work guys (and girls). Now to learn how to use them all and put them to work.
-
Any help is good help...could do without the "duhh" though I suppose this is my fault for not being specific enough. I was basically seeing if there was a comprehensive list of all the new tools that have been released lately by Jason777, sanguinetti, xDan, etc. I was hoping to avoid having to dredge through tens (if not hundreds) of threads to find them, what they do and how they work (with links of course). If something like that doesnt exist...it probably should...right?
-
Thank you but please stay on topic Also I never noticed you could see who reads your topics but doesnt reply...shame on you senior members who looked but didnt post...lol I know I am being lazy but was hoping someone could save me some time.
-
You guys/gals know the drill. Problem is that I have been out of the game for too long. I have the debug rom and ppf-o-matic...but that is pretty much the end of it. I know I could read a LOT of threads and gather the info the old fashioned way, but if someone could give me a good list of the popular (working) tools we use nowadays for mods...I would appreciate it. Back in my day it was ZLE2, ZAP2, UoT and a hex editor...lol I suppose I am asking for a list of the new tools that I can use to make my modding easier. Links would also be nice

Ocarina Of Time ~ Debug ROM ALL Fixs ~
haddockd replied to â–²ChriisTiianâ–²'s topic in Modifications
Can anyone re-upload these if they have them? Looking to get back into modding again (I know right) and something like this would be handy -
If memory serves correctly, no guarantees though
-
Just to be clear, my mod has alot to offer and do, but I dont think it is possible to beat without cheats or modification (if I recall correctly, you cant enter the well). I am not trying to discourage, just remember this is an old mod and I have no intentions on doing any bugfixes or support on it. I will however, answer any and all questions if I can
-
Sure! My mod has its issues but had ALOT of changes in it like damage chart modification, custom music, complete text/plot change, etc. The changelog is in the link
-
To be honest, there are only 3 major mods that were completed (or are nearing completion): Zelda's B-day My mod (which apparently no one played...lol) The URA project going on here. Perhaps if you asked specific questions as to what you would like to accomplish in a more direct manner, we could assist more

Once this becomes mature, I see great things in its future!
-
That sounds awesome. I would love to see and try out your work
-
I have seen JSA come and go recently. Perhaps he can make a cameo and tell us how to use it Edit: After looking I dont see any tool posted here by JSA, only ZLE2 and ZAP2
-
This is going to sound bad, but Samurai, I have heard you complaining about numerous things and offering these "great" suggestions. But what have you actually DONE to resolve any of them? You just bash other people's hard work such as Sanguinetti but yet I haven't seen any contribution from you that was better...or even half as good as what he has. Just me ranting and it will likely be deleted, but I had to write it.
