I do remember there being a bunch of invisible spiders in that hole, can't remember if there was something else up there, I think a gold skulltula, maybe? Anyways, its rather interesting to find these old object sets, even more interesting that shabom is actually located for the object set, makes me wonder what purpose it played? Decoration like in MM's giant's santurary or enemy like inside of Lord Jabu Jabu? Edit: Also perhaps Ruto is suppose to be standing there and you get to see the Zora's saphire and Ruto swallowed by Lord Jabu Jabu?

For those of you from ZSO and beta questers of the old Zelda N64 game, you might remember the Jabu Jabu cutscene that freezes for reasons that were unknown back then. It was during this time that the Ocarina Pedestal was found in Zora's fountain, I took sometime to examine things and fix them correctly as they are suppose to be, these cutscenes are representation of old beta unused and unfinished cutscenes that never made it to the final game. While also going through the object sets, I also found unused groups that you never normally see in Zora's fountain. 00A4 = Golden Torch stand 0012 = Shabom 0061 = Normal Warp Pad 0013 = Cucco Taken from my own personal guesses, these object sets are older then the map itself, which explains why Jabu Jabu was moved extremely far from his alter, probably due to the map was originally a lot smaller, Another thing I find interesting is that the normal warp pad's object set is there as well as the Ocarina pedestal. Perhaps you had to play the Ocarina infront of Lord Jabu Jabu at one point, then again, why does the spiritual stone float up and over the pedestal? I do know that the normal warp pads were not in their locations they are now in the final game, this has been proven by examining old objects sets, so its probably a good possible guess that the normal warp pad that's in Lake Hylia used to be in Zora's Fountain. The Golden Torch was probably decoration of some sort and Shabom is just anybody's guess what it was used for, however a cucco? That is a little beyond me.... Anyways here's the video, enjoy! Also just to jog memories on how it used to be, we couldn't even be a certain height without it freezing:

I wish you the best of luck in your project!

What about texture animation? Has this fully been figured out yet? As far as I know, it does have to with partially the Scene table, DE commands, and something to do with the actual scene(which I still have not pinpointed yet)

Disclaimed Fan Projects are illegal? (Read more inside)
Zeth Ryder replied to
PJC92's topic in General GamingI totally agree, beside, if anything was to get a C&D it would be brawl plus hacks due to it being on a console that is still on the market and selling games. -
U Mad Link?

My boredom gets the best of me, Nabooru's getting trolllololololololed!

Sorry, didn't mean to set ya off there spinout ;PI didn't realize it was going to be that complicated.

Now comes the curious question, is this importing maps the correct way compared to the old map porting methods?

SanguinettiMods Released Texture Packs.
Zeth Ryder replied to
SanguinettiMods's topic in Community ProjectsReally nice Job man, They look really great, looks like I got some competition in the texturing department. http://core.the-gcn.com/public/style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif -
Wow Xdan this is very very impressive, I like the new effects with the maps, between day and night transition. Actor spawning already as well? I'm thoroughly impressed! Now I do have a question, sometimes people could side jump through the wall in the collision on spinout's old converter, is this the case with the newly generated collision?

Wind Waker: Exactly How Much was Cut?
Zeth Ryder replied to Sage of Mirrors's topic in General Gaming
Twilight Princess's Beta stuff is just as massive, I did a bunch of ref screenshots ages ago of some beta things and things from the Gamecube E3 demo back when ZSO existed -
Made a video of all the cutscenes together.

Oh goodness this reminds me of when spinout and I were porting maps and characters directly from SSB64 into OOT. The good times!
-
Actually, it looks like the Great Fairy is teaching link how to do the spin attack. O.O That looks pretty real to me o.o Edit: Actually I just found it on the MM Debug Rom as well! Actually for each gift you get from the Great Fairy, you get a cutscene like that. Like there is one of Link actually doing sit ups and stuff and when you return to the great fairies fountain, it says your defense has been strengthened.

How Ocarina of Time almost became the worst game ever
Zeth Ryder replied to Zeth Ryder's topic in News
The thing is, its not hyrule castle, its Ganon's castle. And yeah I agree, the burning of Lon Lon Ranch would of been amazing/devastating to watch, so instead they burned down Kakariko. If you also read the other articles they link in that first post. They also talk about getting 7 spells from the sages which they turned into 3 spells, one for each goddess. Also I added the 2 indepth articles as well for reading since you guys might be missing them by accident when reading the first article. -
IGN sums up all the basic keypoints in Ocarina of Time's development history on the N64 and behold what you are about to see/read is going to make you appreciate Ocarina of Time even more! You can read the article here: http://wii.ign.com/articles/118/1182442p1.html Down below is the more indepth articles: http://ds.ign.com/articles/117/1176996p1.html http://ds.ign.com/articles/117/1179328p1.html

Eh if I remember correctly, "Sam" was supposely someone who worked at Nintendo but was later confirmed to be fake? <.<His information sounds sketchy as fuck and this is probably where all the Unicorn fountain and the blade beam attack rumors came from....figures... Edit: Also skimming through the shit this guy is spouting, first off the Great Deku tree did exist back in Zelda64, there is even an early promo that shows him, second of all, the lost woods he mentions were called the Maze woods back then. I spent a lot of time researching real creditable resources, this is about as fake as this gets. Furthermore, the medallions didn't warp you either, the medallions actually gave you the power of the spells of the goddesses do in the final game. Proof can be seen via the shadow temple, the fire medallion is etched right in the pedestal outside of its entrance. Also I like how he calls Zelda's horse actually malon's horse when we see Zelda ride off on it in the first scenes. God the lies really urked me.

Capcom looked at the Number of members registered in the MML3 devroom as the official number of units they could anticipate to sell if they green-lighted the title for Full Development. The game was never authorized for full time Development because the numbers in North America were less than 4500. Which with development costs it was deemed Financially Unacceptable to release the title. HOWEVER, The Dev Team convinced them to Leave the North American Development room on Capcom-Unity open in an effort to try and generate enough members to change their minds. Also inside the Dev Room is the Official Petition to Release the Prototype of the game and Continue Development of the game on a FULL SCALE. The more people we can get to sign the petition on the official forums and become a servbot number on the dev room will showcase the support for the game that capcom overlooked majorly! Below is the two pages you need to keep yourself updated with! First off is the Facebook page 100,000 Strong for Bringing Back Megaman Legends 3, they are the biggest support of rallied fans working hard to bring this game back. They keep up to date with current events within capcom and the game's status and more information, campaign and events going on. The second link is the dev room, this the numbers that were sooo low because of Capcom's lack of advertising and not even considering the thousands and perhaps millions of fans that were watching from the side lines or didn't even know abotu the dev room. Now everyone does and its time to fill those ranks up, so the Devroom link sends you to a page that shows you how to become a servbot for the dev room. After you have become a servbot, post your number and sign the petition in the third link! I want to thank everyone for the continued support and let's bring this game out for everyone! Facebook for supporting the revival of the project! http://www.facebook.com/GetMeOffTheMoon The American Megaman Legends 3 Devroom: http://www.capcom-unity.com/go/devroom/about The Megaman Legends 3 Official Petition: http://www.capcom-unity.com/devroom/go/thread/view/114725/28033281/SIGN_HERE_... The Nintendo 3DS is receiving a huge price drop from August 12th onwards. But, if you’ve already purchased a 3DS or don’t want to wait for the price drop, then don’t worry, you’re not losing out on the goodness. Early adopters will be able to download a total of twenty games from the Virtual Console service for free. These freebies are split between the NES and the Game Boy Advance. Meaning, you’ll be able to download ten NES games and ten Game Boy Advance games. And yes, this also confirms that Game Boy Advance games are coming to the Virtual Console. But, early adopters will be able to download games that Nintendo doesn’t plan to make available for regular folk. These games include: Yoshi’s Island: Super Mario Advance 3 Mario Kart: Super Circuit Metroid Fusion WarioWare Inc.: Minigame Mania Mario vs. Donkey Kong The NES games will be available for free from September 1st onwards, with the Game Boy Advance games being available before the end of the year.

This came about during conversation with a friend about names for new enemies for the Ice Temple, and my friend suggest Frozead, and this is automatically what I thought when he said it.
