  2. Don't get me wrong, as I'm probably one of the biggest Dinosaur Planet enthusiast out there, but sadly Nintendo thought the game should take a different direction and it did. While I do feel parts of the game in Adventure were kind of slapped in(like andros and the arwing parts) but I actually enjoyed the experience of being able to walk around and solve puzzles. Zelda didn't copyright the adventure format, so there is nothing wrong with other franchises doing it and as Blinx said, it would be epic to go on foot in Corneria or Katrina, or some of the other planets as long as they mixed up the arwing and shooting parts properly. While everyone has there own opinion, everyone needs to relax and understand some people will like games and others won't. That's fine to dispute your opinion as long as its not leading into an outbreak of anger. Now, everyone is welcome here, we're not trying to chase people away however its a bit easier to get better responses if you check how you are posting. Why you are stating opinions it can be taken as insult to someone's favorite franchise or game and lead into conflicts. So -please- everyone be more respectful about how you critique games and share your opinions? Also Blinx is a pretty awesome guy, funny too but he also can be very straight forwardly blunt, not trying to be a dick or attack but that's just how he is. So anywho, *throws his hands up in the air* I'm off to play Pokemon.

  4. OOT Beta: I'd like to point out whether I was a brony or not(which I'm not) doesn't matter, I wouldn't put something like a brony or other stuff that obviously doesn't belong in this project. Nevertheless, people need to chill, I've been seeing a lot of overreacting without people thinking, next person who post such nonsense without even thinking first will recieve a warn. There are better ways to get your point across without being stupid and overreacting.
  5. Is it sad that I consider most today's gamers to be nothing more the FPS consumers? Not really actual "gamers" as they never leave the FPS genre or try anything that isn't shooting someone down? To me a lot of the games nowadays have become very stagnant which is why I stick to a lot of my older consoles and games. They have given me more satisfaction and joy then today's games.
  6. Oh nice! That's really great to hear, so items can be swapped out pretty nicely without worrying about shaders, very awesome!
  7. Check where you get the slingshot normally and see how it looks in comparison.
  8. I've actually played the Wii U and enjoyed a lot of the minigames on Nintendoland so far, personally I feel its worth it. I've spent hours playing the games on there with my friends, the Metroid Blast is especially fun though Zelda Battle Quest is a HUGE challenge! I've gotten addicted personally to the Animal Crossing and Luigi's mansion minigames, those two are my absolute favorite. I will say part of the downside is some of the minigames you can only play with 2+ and cannot be played in single player. I actually had no problem with the Wii U gamepad, its very light actually and it felt comfortable in my hands, learning the controls takes a little bit to get use as it does with any new console but it doesn't feel out of the normal.
  9. Either the gfx plugin you are using is glitched or the ingame shader is wrong on the slingshot. If I remember right, each GI-item uses specified shaders. Still really great work on this! I look forward to more of your work!

  11. Nintendo putting more support in that dead console is stupid. Wii in itself was alright, taking the GCN compatibility was stupid cause a lot of people had a wii for THAT REASON alone, then ontop add no online play with no gcn compatibility? That's just stupid, absolutely fucking stupid. They really need to kick out whatever asshat whoever thought that was a good idea and was going to sell. They really should turn the main focus in supporting the Wii U and 3DS and give up on this trying to grave rob and still make money off the wii when its NOT going to. Between hacking and its lack of support, its a dead console ontop most people already own the bloody thing or a Wii U! STUPID STUPID STUPID!
  12. All the cutscenes contain old exit data, so they lead to odd places. Though during my beta search, I have found that mido's house use to be the House of Twins's house across from the shop. Saria's house didn't exist and the house of twins use to connect to mido's current house location. Also the know it all brother's house use to be mirrored. Like when you play MQ on the 3DS and enter the house, that's how it use to be in OOT originally.

  14. Wouldn't be the 64 bit win 7 part, as that's what I'm using and i have no problem. I think it has to do with how big the actual object is.

  17. Collision really works no different then Scenes, except the collision can be stored inside the same object file, or its stored in the actor itself. However, the actor of course has to have reference to it. There was something else, I just don't remember what when spinout and I changed the entire graveyard sets with the one with MM's and added its correct collision as well, something about a float pointer?
  18. Xdan don't get discouraged, there is actually a lot of people who want this kind of thing, myself included. I had a few issues come in the way such as my GPU dying and now that I'm back, I'm going to be trying this! Keep in mind that apparently others are having computer issues, school is involved and holiday is approaching. Though truth be told didn't know you released this publicly, I just randomly came up on by accident TODAY, cause no offense or anything, this thread is a little on the disorganized side so its hard to find what projects you've made here and what not, I don't check here much cause a lot of it has been gb hacking or emulating things which isn't where my own personal interest stem from. So possibly you would have a better chance with feedback on the new tool if you posted it in its own thread? I will give my feedback very soon as I'm converting the dlist as we speak and prepping them for ingame use. Also I would like to make mention, I was trying to change the base and doing so caused an error to pop up! I tried to change the base(aka the padding) to 0x39C0 and it wouldn't make it saying something that it was too big or something which is odd cause I know some dlist don't start til even further like at 0x5000+ due to animations/textures that fill up that part. Anyways, upcoming feedback soon!
