Nights' shivering slowly died down and he relaxed, slow, even breathing escaping him.
-
"Come on, Link. We're almost there." Kaze said assuringly, "The Great Fairy will take care of those wounds."
-
Nights shivered, a small whimper of pain escaping him.
-
Navi repeated this out loud causing Kaze to hum in agreement, "Let's go!"
-
OFF TOPIC: Oh hell yes! We're bringing it back! *bricked* -Several hours ago in Nightopia- "Gah!" Night growled in pain as he was thrown back. "Give up, Nights. You no longer have the power you once did." Wizeman rumbled, his eye-hands glaring at the small nightmaren. "I won't give up! I can't!" He growled, getting back up. "Fool!" The master nightmaren roared. "You act so fierce, yet you are nothing compared to me! If you won't obey, then I'll just have to get rid of you!" He brought hands up. Nights screamed in pain, it felt like he was being ripped to pieces. Seconds later, he vanished. -Real world- The jester fell to the ground with a dull thud. He barely noticed the soft feel of the rain as everything hurt too much for him to comprehend anything else. 'D-damnit...'
-
"Hey there!" Kaze said with a little grin. "I hope my friends didn't startle you too badly. They're very forward, especially with hugs." She giggled, recalling a few times she had to go to the great fairy after a goron hug.
-
"Well, see you later, I've got a blonde to catch!" Kaze waved at her friends before heading after Link. -- "That was...interesting." Navi said slowly, tilting her head.
-
"Brilliant, you scared him." Kaze burst into laughter, shaking her head in amusement. 'Lively guy, I like him.'
-
Kaze giggled softly, "Sworn brothers means you'll be considered family." She whispered.
-
"Damn, don't even think about it. Get the hell away from there, frog girl!" Black*Star yelled, charging forward. "You've gotta stop her now, Black*Star!" Maka yelled to him. 'The enchanted sword mode is at its limit, but I have to do this, even if it tears me apart!' The blue haired assassin thought. He leaped into the air with a war cry. "Looks like your time is up, froggy! TAKE THIS!" He yelled before attacking.
-
"This is really really weird..." She mumbled softly, but hurried after them. The light somehow lifted the children in the air and brightened as they disappeared. They reappeared outside of the cavern and were lowered back to the ground. Sudden the sound of something large falling through the sky was heard soon followed by a heavy thud behind the trio. When they turned around, they saw Darunia sitting up, then standing and smiling. "It's me, Darunia! Well done! Thanks to you, we can once again eat the delicious rocks from the Dodongo's Cavern until our stomachs burst!" He frowned slightly, "What a wild adventure! It will make an incredible story... I can't believe that the Dodongos suddenly appeared in such great numbers! And that big rock blocking the cave... All this trouble must have been caused by that Gerudo thief, Gannondorf! He said, "Give me the Spiritual Stone! Only then will I open the cave for you!" You, on the other hand, risked your life for us..." The grin appeared again, "Kid, I like you! How's about you and I become Sworn Brothers?!" He chuckled at the non-plussed look the blonde had. "No, there's no big ceremony involved! Just take this as a token of our friendship!" He lifted his arms and a bright red light shined before a large ruby came floating down.

---Next next morning--- Ethan woke rather abruptly to the announcer claiming they had arrived. Slowly, he got up, expression dark with exhaustion and sadness. 'Let's get this over with...'
-
"Um..." Was the blank response to that event. The lava cooled and hardened before a blue light emitted from the middle. Navi flew towards it with a 'Come on!'
-
'This is tough! We gotta keep on our toes or we're gonna die!' She thought. Finally the creature stopped, surprisingly behind them and opened it's mouth ready to breathe fire again only to eat yet another bomb.
-
Black*Star jumped to his feet, grinning, "Alright!" He raced towards the needle with the intention of destroying it. He ignored Eruka who shouted at him only to end up freaking out over the illusion. "Here goes!" The blue haired assassin yelled, about to strike down, but before he could, something else grabbed the needle away.
-
"As long as I'm aiming for the black blood, the werewolf won't be able to move!" Maka shouted to the blue haired assassin. "I'll cover for you Black*Star, go now!" "I'm going!" He replied as he started to charge at Eruka. "Be careful, the kishin's madness can cause hallucinations!" The blonde warned him. "No worries, my sixth sense really sucks! I can barely feel the madness!" Black*Star scoffed cause her to smirk, "Excellent!"
-
The bandages wound around Maka bringing her face to "face" with the mummy person. She didn't even flinch, only closed her eyes, 'Calm down. Just breathe. What you're seeing is brought on by the wavelength of the kishin's madness. You've felt it plenty of times on the way down here.' Her eyes snapped open. 'It's only a hallucination!' The illusion vanished allowing her to drop down onto her feet.
-
The blonde girl flipped in the air, aiming to shoot, but then she froze. Standing in front of her was a person with bandages wrapped around their head and lying behind them like limp limbs. Time seemed to freeze for a moment before the bandages shot out and wrapped around her legs. "Damnit!" she cursed before she aimed and shot at him. However the shots did nothing much to her shock, 'Who's this mummy guy?!' she thought.
-
With that statement, Maka kicked the door open startling Eruka and Free. Her gaze narrowed as she saw the witch holding a giant needle, 'The black blood is in that syringe!' That thought in mind, she charged forward to attack.
-
Kid shivered faintly, biting his lip in response. "Yes. Almost." He shuddered faintly. The wavelengths were powerful...almost to a painful extent.
-
Mizune coughed up blood, glaring at her one last time before she turned black and dispersed, leaving 5 floating purple souls.
-
"Gladly!" She growled, charging at her.
-
"Why don't you just give up, little girl." the witch sneered, "You're obviously at your end."
-
Maka shook her head with a small sigh as she came forward again, "Damn! They bought themselves a lot of time with that trick!" She turned around, "Let's hurry, Black*Star!" "Right! Time for more action!" The assassin exclaimed before both teens raced past Free and into the darkness.
-
"You never tried to avoid any of the bullets I shot in your direction, but you didn't want any of Black*Star's blade attacks to hit you. Because they would go right through you without resistance and we would realize you were nothing more than an image. I assume the initial cannon blast came from behind the projection. You had to make the image look like the real deal. The fact that people generally attack immortals from a distance worked in your favor too. I'm sure you were counting on that all in all it was a nice trick." After finishing her little explanation, she walked completely through him then suddenly pointed at Black*Star, her arm going through Free's image again. "What I wanna know is why you didn't notice when you stabbed him!" She snapped at the blue haired assassin. Black*Star was in a bit of a daze before he grinned, "Hey! I'm Black*Star! I figured my attacks were so awesome that my blade just slid right through him without me feeling anything!" Maka twitched in annoyance before she stuck her head through again to stare at him,"Really?" She asked sarcastically. Then she was a little nicer as she asked, "So then why didn't you notice, Tsubaki?"
