"What do you say Crona? Will you let me be your friend?" Kid asked softly, holding out his hand and smiling softly, "Please say you will."
-
Kid winced slightly, but gave a small smile of assurance, "Don't be so frightened." He said softly, walking forward, "It's okay. You're just a little shaken up now that the line you had drawn is erased." He winced again as more of the blood needles stabbed him and brushed past him, "It's okay, really." He smile was weak as he moved closer, "I promise you." He slumped to his knees and fell forward against Crona. "Now I understand it. Your soul wavelength." Kid slowly lifted his arms and wrapped them around the pink haired male in a gentle hug, "It's not that you don't know how to deal with people...it's that no one took the time to deal with you..."
-
"I need you to wait here a moment, Soul." Kid said softly.
-
"DAMNIT!" The imp cursed. They grasped each other's wrists tightly and after a few hard tugs, Soul managed to pull Kid up. In the real world, Kid snapped to attention and stood up straight, "How's Crona?" He asked, looking both determined and a little concerned at the same time.
-
"Pull me out of the madness and you better move quickly!" Kid told him. "No!" The demon exclaimed.
-
"But look it's so easy to erase!" He exclaimed, continuing to kick at the line. He ignored Crona's protests as he fully erased the circle. "Alright!" He exclaimed, dusting his outfit off, "All gone."
-
"A line, huh?" Kid mused, turning his attention to the circle around them.
-
Kid looked around as he steppe inside the circle, "Why's that, I don't understand." He said in a curious tone.
-
He blinked tilting his head curiously, "Huh? Why not?"
-
"I know that!" Exclaimed a new voice. When Crona looked up he saw a small boy standing there, hands on his hips. He had messy black hair with three small stripes of white on the left side and gold eyes. He was wearing a dark blue t-shirt with tan jeans. "Hellooo~" He said cheerfully. Crona flinched back causing the boy to giggle, "Can I come in there too?"
-
The witch 'hmph'ed, smirking faintly, "We'll see about that."
-
Finally they stopped snapping their fingers. The youngest Mizune sister landed on the ground, followed by the fifth, the fourth, the third and finally the second oldest. A purple light surrounded them and when it faded, a busty pink haired woman was standing in their place. She stared at Yuri, "Little girl, you need to learn how to stay out of people's ways."
-
The last Mizune sister glared at her before a smirk formed and she raised her hand, snapping her fingers in rhythm. As she did this, the other sisters got up and started snapping their fingers as well. They rose into the air, the four who had been hit before starting to circle the apparent leader.
-
The Mizune grinned at her before flying towards her, their whiskers glowing a pink color.
-
'Yeah, I'm working on it. I think I can do this. I had a weird kind of premonition when I was sane. Now that I've got the same madness as Crona, I can match our soul wavelengths, and find out what it is...I feel it.' He started moving downwards. He soon came across a floating blue soul. He reached up to it, "Look at this. This is my soul... it really is pretty tiny..." He held it close to his heart, closing his eyes for a moment before a blue light shone behind him. He turned around to see another soul, "Another one... It's not in the best shape, a little twisted, a bit worse for the wear, kinda rough around the edges too." A soft, loving smile appeared on his face, "But it's always there for me. This is my Soul Eater soul." He turned away and continued on. "Now where's Crona's soul...?" He mused to himself. He started slightly when he saw a purple light, "That must be his soul up there." He moved towards it and gently held his arms around it, closing his eyes. 'It's hard to explain, but I'm sensing a very dry wavelength...' he thought. Suddenly he found himself floating above the ground. He looked a little startled, 'A desert? It almost looks like it could be a beach... but with no ocean.' he frowned slightly before he noticed a small child, 'Crona?'
-
In the depths of the madness, Kid was floating, eyes shut tight. 'Soul...' he murmured. In the real world, Kid pulled back slightly, only to lightly lick the bite marks he made. Back inside, the OCD teen grimaced, 'Oh wow, that's embarrassing...'
-
"Come on, give me something new!" Kid exclaimed, leaned low to the side as stars of excitement shined in his eyes. He straightened up as he continued, "Can't you do anything like eye gouging or fish hooking?" He taunted. "No? Well maybe you'd like to tear off my tongue!" He stuck said pink appendage out for emphasis.
-
"Come on, hit me some more!" Kid taunted, slamming the pink haired male's face into the pillar, "You can do better than this, can't you?!" He pushed the boy down, dragging his face against the hard cement. Letting go, he laughed before he stomped down on the swordsman's back a few times before leaning back, holding his scythe in the air.
-
Kid chuckled, gripping the sword and pulling it out, "That's too bad, I like them!" He yanked on the sword, forcing Crona to stumble forward only to get kicked in the face by the shinigami and sent flying into a pillar. Kid touched his wound and pulled it back, looking at the ebony blood, "Hey it's black, it's so pretty!" he exclaimed with a crazy smile.
-
"It's all just...so funny you know?" Kid asked, still wobbling and giggling as he moved closer. He spun around slightly and whacked Crona with the blade of the scythe.
-
Kid jumped off his partner and swayed slightly, his grin gone for awhile. A shadow covered his eyes again and a faint smile came up and he began giggling softly.
-
Kid lifted his head, a shadow covering his eyes as his mouth stretched into an impossibly wide grin. Suddenly he raised his scythe and slammed it into Crona, sending him flying into one of the arches. Kid dug the blade into the ground and jumped on the handle, chuckling in an insane manner, the grin still present, "Oooh, he flew!" He exclaimed in a crazed tone, before covering his mouth with one hand, still chuckling.
-
"Oops, sorry." Kid smiled sheepishly, pulling his foot away, "You really should lead."
-
"I know, but it's worth trying, right?" Kid asked softly, determination sparking in his eyes.
-
Kid looked up with a faint smile, "I'm sorry, Soul, I've made up my mind." he said simply.
