"Easy for you to say, you're not the one being treated like a bride..." Kid murmured through his hands which were still covering his face.
-
Kid squeaked loudly, blushing furiously red. He hid his face in his hands, utterly humiliated as he could feel the stares of the other people while he was being carried away.
-
"T-tch!" Kid glanced away, "N-no matter what you do, I-I won't tell you!" he declared, though his voice was slightly shaky.
-
Kid turned scarlet, "Y-you wouldn't dare!" That had been so embarrassing! He wasn't keen on it happening again, but he didn't want to speak on his thoughts.
-
"S-soul!" Kid squeaked, blushing furiously. "L-let go!" Secretly he didn't want to be let go of, but there was no way he was letting his partner know that!
-
"A-ah, nothing!" Kid said quickly, flushing a faint pink.
-
"Mm..." Kid made a thoughtful noise, lightly swirling his drink.
-
"Right." The blonde nodded before standing, "It was nice meeting you, Kid, Soul." "The feeling is mutual." Kid replied with a faint smile, pleased that his blush had faded.
-
Kid blushed even more while Maka giggled again.
-
Kid flushed bright red, now he was the one to start stammering, "I-I! Err... I mean" he flushed deeper as he heard the girls giggle.
-
Kid blushed and lightly whacked his partner on the arm, "Like you're one to talk about quirks!" Maka smiled faintly, they were an amusing pair.
-
"I wish it wasn't." Maka sighed. Kid simply shrugged and smiled, "Everyone has their quirks."
-
Maka turned even redder, "I-I, um, er, that is...!" She stammered nervously. Kid raised a hand to quiet her, "It's okay, Maka, you don't have to answer that." He lightly nudged Soul, "That's a very personal question, Soul, we just met them."
-
Maka blushed up to the roots of her hair. "PATTY!" She yelped in shock. Kid blinked, "..." 'Huh?' he thought in confusion.
-
Kid silently agreed with her, smiling a little more. "We'll see you at school tomorrow." Maka said with a smile.
-
Kid blushed faintly, but gave a faint smile in return, lightly squeezing his hand.
-
Maka shook her head, laughing softly. "I suppose it couldn't hurt..." Kid murmured softly, biting his lip lightly.
-
Kid perked slightly at the mention of 'date', 'I could ask...' He glanced at his partner then looked away, 'No, that's not a good idea...'
-
"Err, no we don't." Kid responded, fidgeting slightly. He never liked mentioning school, for it always felt awkward since they were only being taught the basics and he and his partner were much more advanced.
-
Maka shook her head with a small sigh while Kid looked thoughtful, 'Interesting...'
-
"We met another girl this morning." Kid explained. "Yuri Chimidoro, A weapon without a partner." "Oh, I remember her." Maka piped up as the rest of the girls sat down, "She's very quiet and on the shy side."
-
Maka nodded before ordering what was requested before saying she wanted a blueberry muffin as well. "That could have a numerous amount of reasons." Kid replied after a moment of thought. "She might've not found the right partner, perhaps she wants to be on her own, or maybe she has a personal reason she wishes to keep to herself."
-
Maka giggled again before she relayed the orders to the worker before adding her own of hot chocolate. "Anyone want anything to eat? Kid blinked, looking at Soul curiously, "Yes?"
-
Maka giggled softly, "No, but they have tea by itself." Kid took a sip of his drink and sighed softly as the liquid easily warmed him up.
-
"Thank you Soul." Kid smiled softly as their new friends went to order something to warm up.
