Kid paused to think, "It's not common, but I don't see why not."
-
Kid nodded with another smile, "That's right. And it is this ability that will allow you to...as you say, do something much 'cooler' than playing the piano." His smile widened.
-
Kid lightly gripped the handle, looking the weapon up and down before smiling faintly, 'A scythe, huh? Somehow, I feel it suits him.' "You alright?" He asked softly, looking to the blade.
-
"That would be your weapon blood awakening." He said softly. 'It's seems to be forcing a transformation?' he thought to himself. 'I wonder what he'll be...'
-
The moment their hands touched, Kid had to bite his lip to keep from giving an exclamation of surprise at the wavelength he felt. 'It's much more powerful than I expected...! But it seems dormant, locked away. I wonder if he even knows...'
-
"Just trust me." Kid said softly.
-
As their eyes met once more, Kid finally realized what the energy he had felt from the other was. Soul had the blood of a weapon. A small smile formed, "I think I might be able to help with that."
-
Kid walked closer, "Cooler like what, Soul?" He asked quietly.
-
Kid looked slightly startled and confused, tilting his head slightly. "Run away? Why would anyone runaway from your playing?" He inquired.
-
Kid smiled faintly, "Indeed." Then he paused, flushing slightly. "I-I'm sorry. I didn't even introduce myself." He gave an embarrassed smile. "My name is Death. Death the Kid. You are?"
-
Kid's breath caught in his throat when his golden eyes met with heated ruby. Managing to shake himself out his stupor, he cleared his throat, "That was...amazing. You play very well." He spoke softly.
-
Awed into silence, Kid could only raise his hands and start clapping softly. 'That was...amazing.' He thought.
-
Kid glanced around, making sure no one was around before he slowly opened the door and looked inside. A white haired teen, possibly slightly younger than him, was playing the piano. The song was nothing like the golden-eyed had ever heard before, but it intrigued him greatly. Silently, he walked into the room and shut the door behind him, continuing to listen to the melody.
-
Kid slowed down as soon as he caught his reflection in a mirror. 'The stripes are perfectly fine!' He thought, eyes narrowing. 'He tricked me!' But before he could express his frustration, he paused when he felt something. 'It's that feeling again...it's stronger though...' Forgetting about going back, he followed the sense, quietly noting that as the pull got stronger, he started to hear...piano music? How strange...
-
Kid's face paled drastically, "WH-WHAT?!" Without another word, the teen bolted, obviously intending to check if what his father said was true.
-
Kid lifted his head to look at his father before shaking his head, "No, father, everything's fine." He gave a faint smile of assurance.
-
As they made their way closer to the destination in mind, Kid blinked when he felt something. It was faint, but it was there. 'What the...?' He shook his head, pushing the feeling away, 'Get a grip, Death, were almost there.' he scolded himself.
-
"Yes father." Kid said tonelessly. 'And this is why I sometimes wish I wasn't born a reaper...' The golden eyed teen thought as he quietly walked beside his father. 'This is going to be so dull...'
-
Kid gave a faint smile before he slipped off to sleep himself.
-
Kid rested his head on Soul's chest, sighing softly as he listened to his heartbeat. "I love you..." He murmured sleepily.
-
"M'kay..." Kid murmured, exhaustion finally blanketing his mind causing him to yawn, the sound ending with an adorable squeak causing him to jolt and blush.
-
Kid shivered faintly, whether from the water stopping, or from the soft whispers was anyone's guess. He flushed slightly and smiled shyly.
-
Kid returned the kiss, waves of bliss flowing through his body. He never wanted this feeling to end.
-
"I-I'm fine..." Kid stammered faintly, "Just...overwhelmed."
-
"...happy." Kid whispered, closing his eyes. "I've never felt this happy...this complete...it's so different..." His shoulders were shaking and despite the water running down his face, it was obvious that he was crying.
