Kid blushed, glancing away shyly before smiling faintly, "Sure, I'd...like that." He said softly, blushing a little more.
-
Kid blinked, looking curious, "Yes...?"
-
"Come on Patty, calm down and let him breathe." Liz chided, though she was smiling. Kid laughed, "It's alright, Liz, I don't mind. I had fun." he said cheerfully.
-
Ethan closed his eyes, thinking of a melody that always made him think of Silver ever since he had heard it. A small, sad smile formed, "Somewhere out there Someone's saying a prayer That we'll find one another In that big somewhere out there." He sighed, "And even though I know How very far apart we are It helps to think we might be wishing On the same bright star..."
-
Roughly rubbing away his tears, Ethan slowly got off the bed and left the cabin with Cynder quietly following him. The raven haired teen went to the railing of the ship and leaned against it, staring up at the sky as the wind played with his hair and clothes. 'I miss you...'
-
Kid laughed softly, "Alright."
-
Ethan laid down on the bed in the cabin, staring up at the ceiling. 'Silver...' He felt tears sting his eyes and he bit back a soft sob.

Chapter 2: Encounter Gold waved his farewell to Mr. Pokemon before he turned his attention to the egg he had been given. It was warm and if he was quiet enough he could he just the tiniest of sounds coming from it. Smiling slightly, he started to head back to Cherrygrove then Newbark when his pokegear went off. The screen flashed, showing the professor's name. Gold blinked before pressing the recieve button. :G-gold! It's terrible!: Elm cried. :Please get back here quickly!: The line shut down and Gold frowned deeply, "What the...?" Shaking his head, he hurried down the route, fully intent on figuring out what the hell was going on. Finally making it to the edge of Cherrygrove City, Gold yelped in surprise when a small human-shaped missle crashed painfully into him, sending him down to the ground. Cynder squealed in surprise and concern as the boy groaned softly, sitting up slowly. He looked up at what, or rather, WHO crashed into him. It was a boy who looked to be a year younger than him. Long crimson hair cascade down to the small of his back and framed his thin and pale face. He was wear dark clothing despite it being a very warm day. However what really caught Gold's attention were his eyes. They were silver. There was only one person Gold knew who had eyes like that, "...Silver?" The boy didn't answer, he didn't even acknowledge that the other spoke. His gaze landed on Cynder next to the dark haired boy and he smirked faintly. Gold looked taken aback. Silver NEVER smirked. Sometimes he smiled in an evil way, but he never smirked and this made him nervous. "You got a pokemon at the lab." Gold blanched at the cool tone from the boy. It didn't sound like Silver at all. The redhead scoffed, "What a waste. That pokemon is too good for a wimp like you." Gold felt his heart shatter at those words. He didn't think someone could be so cruel, especially his (former) best friend. At the lack of response, the boy's smirk widened, "Don't you get what I'm saying?" He pulled out a pokeball, "Well, I too have a good pokemon. I'll show you what I mean!" He released the pokemon to reveal a Totodile. Gold's eyes widened, 'That's one of the starters from the lab! But how could he have...? No, he didn't!' His eyes narrowing, he growled as he jumped to his feet, "If it's a battle you want then it's a battle you'll get!" (Moving forwards as you all should know how the battle goes...) "Hmph! Are you happy you won?" The redhead growled as he recalled his pokemon. Gold stayed silent as he stared sadly at him. "...What? Do you want to know who I am?" The boy asked rhetorically, "I'm going to be the world's greatest Pokemon trainer." He shoved past Gold and started to leave. Gold blinked as he saw something flutter to the ground. He bent down and picked it up. It was a Trainer Card. His eyes widened at the name on it. Suddenly he heard the boy growl, "Give it back! That's my Trainer Card!" He swiped it out of Gold's still hands and glared, though he looked nervous, "Oh great...you saw my name...!" "Silver..." Gold whispered. Silver ignored him, turning away. "Next time I'll crush you!" He growled before breaking out into a run and vanishing from sight. Gold turned in the direction of Newbark Town, his bangs shadowing his eyes. "Come on, Cynder. Let's go home." Cynder whimpered sadly as he followed his heart broken trainer.

Kid blushed, feel a little shy, "I...um...thank you?" he squeaked softly.
-
Kid pulled Soul as close as he possibly could. He never felt this happy before. "That's good..." Liz murmured softly, smiling. "I'm glad things are turning out alright."
-
Kid closed his eyes at the sensations before he spoke. "I love you too..."
-
Kid blushed and laughed softly, "No I suppose not" He replied, blushing a little more at the kisses.
-
"But I'm not by myself..." Kid murmured, lift a hand to stroke Soul's cheek. "I'm with you..."
-
Kid turned to face Soul and smiled softly, "Fine." He said quietly. He shifted slightly, biting his lip. Now was the perfect time to tell him. Question was, would he have the courage to do it?
-
Maka froze for a moment before relaxing and lightly kissing back, blushing. The golden-eyed teen nodded slowly, "Yes, please."
-
"W-well... I-I wanted t-to go with y-you." Maka said shyly, glancing away in embarrassment. Kid felt his cheeks flush even more as their dance started, but he paid no mind to it as he focused on the eyes of the younger teen. They were warm, no, scorching hot and they made him feel different...but in a very good way.
-
Ethan nodded slightly before he and his starter were ushered on to the ship. 'I'm going to find you Silver.' He thought as the ship set sail, 'Make no mistake.'
-
Maka felt a little nervous since she wasn't exactly the best dancer in the world, but she forgot about that the moment Crona's hand was placed on her waist. This was going to be alright. Kid blinked before smiling shyly, blushing even more, "I'd love to."
-
Maka blushed even more, but took his hand, "O-okay..." she said softly, smile faintly. Kid blushed deeply before looking shyly at Soul, "Thank you..." He murmured. "You look really nice yourself..."
-
Meanwhile Kid was looking around nervously. Liz and Patty had wandered off leaving the slightly insecure shinigami by himself. He fidgeted, 'What if he thinks I looks ridiculous?' he thought worriedly. "Th-thank you...y-you look g-great y-yourself..." Maka replied, blushing faintly.
-
Cynder nodded in acknowledgment to the psychic/fighting pokemon's words.Ethan smiled his thanks before closing his eyes as he and the two pokemon were teleported.
-
"H-hi Crona..." Maka said shyly. The shyness between the two was the obvious cue for Soul to leave and find Kid.
-
"He will if he doesn't want to get chopped later." Maka replied with a slightly evil grin.
-
Maka blushed even more before nodding shyly.
-
Maka blushed faintly, twirling a lock of hair on her finger, "Maybe..."
