"Dodge it an use Psybeam!" Ethan called out The water pokemon narrowly dodged the stream of what seemed to be fire of a different color before attacking. OFF TOPIC: Yes, before anyone asks, Mantine CAN learn Psybeam. Don't believe me, look at Serebii
-
"Can you see the man with the evil eyes?" Zelda asked. "That is Ganondorf, the leader of the Gerudos. They hail from the desert far to the west. Though he swears allegiance to my father, I am sure he is not sincere. The dark clouds that covered Hyrule in my dream... They must symbolize that man!" She exclaimed quietly.
-
All of Ethan's team was either knocked out or extremely hurt. He gritted his teeth, 'Damn, I have to be careful now.' But soon he felt a small grin of his own forming. He hadn't had this much excitement in a battle for awhile. He finally tossed a pokeball to reveal a Mantine, slightly burned, but ready to fight. 'Cynder has more health than Mantain(Mantine's Jp name. Original, no? *shot*) at the moment, but I should try to weaken Dragonite before I call him out.'
-
"I just wanted to see if everything was alright." Koto said softly. Haru gave a weak smile, glancing away, "It's as alright as it can be."
-
Haru sat up straight and looked to the door, "It's open!" He called softly.
-
Ethan smiled before tossing out a pokeball to reveal Fluffy. The Ampharos stretched her flippers and squealed happily, ready for battle
-
'Dragon type, huh?' Ethan mused as he walked forward. 'Only strong against other dragons, resistant to fire, water, electric, and grass, but weak against ice.' His eyes gleamed as he picked a pokeball. 'This will be fun!'
-
Ethan stared at the Dragon Master across from him, "This is it." He murmured. "I'm not going to lose!"
-
-FAST FORWARDING TO THE CHAMPION- Ethan healed his team up as best as he could without using the crucial items right away. Here it was, the final match. Him versus the champion. He didn't know what to expect as he walked forward, but he was determined to face it with his all.
-
Haru's smile widened slightly as he gently stroked the blonde's hair.
-
The next morning the raven haired teen got up slowly. He stretched and yawned softly before gently petting his starter awake. "Come on Cynder, let's get ready to take on the Elite." Cynder yawned, showing off his sharp canines before nodding.
-
-
Haru lightly kissed back before pulling away, smiling softly. "I'll always be here for you, Len."
-
With that determined thought in mind, the raven haired teen fell into an uneasy sleep.
-
Haru hugged him tighter, gently stroking his back. He wished that there was something he could do, something he could say to make things right, but he knew he couldn't. He could only hold the blonde close and comfort him as best as he could.
-
Slowly, Ethan rubbed the remainder of his tears away as he got up and stumbled over to the bed. "I'll tell him...soon. I can't wait any longer." He whispered, curling up tightly. Cynder watched his trainer before laying down and sighing softly.
-
Haru crawled into bed and wrapped his arms around Len, "You alright?" He murmured softly.
-
"I want to tell him...I just can't get the words out." Ethan whispered, squeezing his eyes shut. "I really am weak." Cynder growled faintly, nudging his trainer, "Don't say such things!"
-
Haru tensed at the words before murmuring a polite excuse and hurrying after the blonde. Koto watched him go before sighing, "I apologize for them. They've both been going through some rough occurrences."
-
"W-what's wrong with me?!" Ethan whimpered. "W-why couldn't I-I say it?" Cynder whined softly, nuzzling his trainer, "You'll be okay. These things take time..."
-
Haru gave a slight reassuring smile to the blonde. It would be alright. At least...he hoped so.
-
Ethan was too emotionally and physically drained to even TRY taking on the Elite Four right away. Instead he got his team healed up and got a room for the night. The moment he shut the door, he collapsed to his knees and began to cry.
-
Haru reluctantly agreed and they headed back to the dining area. Koto looked at them with a questioning gaze but Haru just shook his head.
-
*waves arms* DISREGARD! I was just being an idiot. Don't mind me~
-
Haru closed his eyes and hugged him tighter. So that was it. "I'm sorry."
