  2. DO IT. The only sauna around here (that I know of) is just next to the swimming pool, I don't think you're allowed phones in there.
  3. It's just that more people choose to hack OoT for whatever reason, probably because of the debug ROM being 'easier to edit'. Most of the tools we have are built to work mostly with OoT too.
  4. Try this map and scene. It will crash randomly in Project 64 but seems to run fine in Nemu.
  5. It's a name a friend and I came up with a long time ago when putting together words like this: [something lethal][Random object] I would change it to something else but there's no point because this is what people know me by on the internet now.

  7. According to physics the hill is moving along the axis of the fourth dimension and is now mine until the next post. My hill.
  8. Most of it seems to be looking really good. The only problems I have are some of the colours in the market and on Link looking far too vibrant.
  9. It's probably similar to what's used on the DS, which is essentially a low quality wav file, yes. There are programs to convert wav files to use for sound effects for games like NSMB, it might be worth it to look into whether the same format will work here.
  10. Thanks! I had a feeling that's what those numbers were used for because I noticed that changing them changed the sample but I never got time to check it out properly. If anyone knows anything about the sample format that was used for this game then we may even be able to start looking into custom sound effects soon.

  12. Okay, I didn't see that before but can you explain a little about how it's done? If not, could you at least point us in the right direction?
  13. I remember seeing this a long, long time ago in magazines. The gameplay looks great, it's a shame this version was never released.
  14. The format of Audiotable needs to be found to actually add other instruments/sound effects into the game, or at least something that tells us the locations of each sample within it so that we could look into moving/replacing samples. Until then, we can't have OoT/MM instruments at the same time.
  15. Most stuff I've uploaded is from a while back when I knew nothing about recording, so there's a lot of poor sounding stuff. My recent recordings have turned out okay though but I don't plan on releasing most of them until I've finished the rest. You should check out and though. Thanks for the positive comments by the way.

So yesterday I found a table right before the sequence pointer table that I somehow overlooked before, so I went ahead and started looking at a few entries in Audiobank and came up with some documentation. It's far from complete but it's enough for me to be able to customise instrument sets and probably make my own. It's most likely not going to be useful to anyone who doesn't want to make a serious music hack though.

  19. How exactly did you do this? I have no problem swapping audioseq but when I swap audiobank/audiotable nothing seems to happen.

  25. I agree. I dislike the Zelda hacking "community" (not its members) for various reasons and your post covers most of them. I mainly stick around to see how certain projects develop (xdaniel's stuff, URA project, etc.) and to sometimes help people out but I have much better things to spend my time on.
