  1. Well, my birthday's tomorrow, so I shouldn't be playing it just yet... then again, I probably won't get to play PS3 today anyway :P

  2. I'll post an "unstable" one over the next couple of days. There's still some relatively serious problems, ex. it feeding invalid data to OpenGL on occasion, which I'd still like to fix, even for an unstable build. I know that PwnzLPs posted a build based on the first commit to the repository over on Zelda64.net, but that's a bit outdated by now and not supported by me. Well, as far as I can try to support things anyway... you know what I mean? Anyway, as I said, I'll post one soon-ish. Edit, actually: https://github.com/xdanieldzd/N3DSCmbViewer/releases/tag/v025-unstable - Unstable! Edit 2: Make sure "Options" -> "Enable Skeletal Rendering" is checked for meshes in scenes to be positioned correctly. That'll break actor rendering because it's incomplete, tho.
  3. Not "hate", no. Just "strongly dislike"? Nah, just joking. Seriously tho, I guess this is useful for anyone not able to run newer builds of the viewer, for whatever reason. Anyone else: Also figured out and fixed some more material-related stuff, like texture wrap modes (mirroring, etc. now works correctly) and source/destination blending factors. Like a lot of the format, this is shared with OoT3D.
  4. Also hadn't had the chance to join zelda on BadnikNET again over the last few days, I'll try to tomorrow or so (@glitterberri, @LogB95 & co)

  5. RT @snicholson: This is the how the German language figured out gender for nouns. http://t.co/G6pQYQJe44

  6. It's funny how some GBAtemp users live inside a GBAtemp-shaped bubble. There's modding going on elsewhere, guys! http://t.co/EqMHBBcJ0p

  7. Not very well tested with other models yet:
  8. Guess I'm off to bed now... Stayed up quite long again for once, like in the old days... those where my apartment wasn't water damaged -.-

  9. Hacky, glitchy and slow... but hey, it's working kinda sorta! :D#MM3D http://t.co/UKBIzDXYy5

  10. WIP: Edit, more recent WIP: Edit, even better: https://github.com/xdanieldzd/N3DSCmbViewer - no proper release build just yet, tho
  11. One of the best soundtracks on Game Boy, made on one of the best platforms ever <3

  12. RT @tinycartridge: Gorgeous concept art for Xenoblade Chronicles X ⊟ http://t.co/nKj2PEwSHe http://t.co/c06Pn9Dstf

  13. ...or rather, two cities-wide traffic congestion, ho! Man, right now I'm kinda glad I'm out of there thanks to the water damage stuff...

  14. I mean, come on: very cute, a scythe, laser beams! What more do you want? #potemayo

  15. Okay, let's see... As you can probably guess from my nickname, my name is Daniel. I'm 27 years old, turning 28 next week, and a trained office management assistant who's looking to get into computer science and application development. I'm German, thus speak German natively, speak English rather well, and know a few bits and pieces of Japanese. As for The GCN, I joined the site in 2010 (according to my profile), but I've been around various Zelda 64 "beta" and hacking/modding websites since 2001 or thereabouts, beginning with - and staying with it, I believe, until its end - Zelda's Secret Ocarina, or ZSO for short. After helping to map the "Beta Quest" and creating GameShark codes to help navigate it, such as the "Object Set Modifier", I started programming Zelda-related tools in ca. 2007, picking up some C and later C# along the way. Since then, I guess I've mainly been known for the tools I've written, such as SharpOcarina, SceneNavi, or the OoT3D model viewer. I had also dabbled in creating mods for the game, with "Nightmare's Proving Grounds" actually resulting in a demo being released in 2007. This project, however, came to a halt after Utility of Time damaged my modified Forest Temple beyond repair - at least according to my knowledge back then; it probably would've been fixable had I known more about transition actors. I'm not working on anything OoT-related anymore right now, aside from said OoT3D viewer, which I've been messing around with from time to time. Instead, my attention has been on a few other games and programs for them, such as ex. Etrian Odyssey for the DS, as well as the 4th game in that series for the 3DS. I also contribute to TCRF, The Cutting Room Floor, a wiki dedicated to unused content in video games, hacking into games to find and document leftovers from development. Otherwise, I'm a fan of video games - from Etrian Odyssey, via Borderlands, to Minecraft, to Zelda (and a lot in between) -, as well as many anime and manga - often more off-beat or otherwise weird series, but also good "mainstream" ones; I like hanging out with my friends, talking about stupid stuff while having a drink, sometimes going out to ex. play pool billiard (uhm, eight-ball, I think? I just know enough to play it...). Sooo, yeah, I guess that's about it?
  16. 11 months since I killed & posted the source of my HW compatible OoT/N64 model converter. Nothing has been done with it. Not surprised.

  17. Kinda wish she'd play "proper" games again, instead of just casual mobile stuff...

  18. There's been a demo of Puyo Puyo Tetris for PS3 on Jpn PSN once, right? Is that gone? Because I can't seem to find it in the store...

  19. Whoever took the screenshots for Gunstar Heroes Treasure Box on Jpn PSN used... did Gens print its OSD like that? http://t.co/auRddTAJZE

  20. My brother's first Pokemon game is Omega Ruby. The one after which I temporarily stopped playing them was the original Sapphire. Huh.

  21. ...my mood is all over the place, right now it's at least neutral again after yesterday's near-complete breakdown...

  22. Or maybe rather, the only day I could truly be myself

  23. Crashing cars at 720p60 (I think 60) to balance out some of the awful shit days I had this last month + not having much privacy etc atm

  24. Having a bad time right now, being forced to stay at my mom's place instead of my own apartment because of some rather extensive water damage there. Not going into more details, but for a few more you can check my twitter. Now, as for gaming pick-ups, I bought something comparatively expensive to try and balance out the bad, plus I'm counting it as a bit of a combined late Christmas and early birthday present for myself...
