  1. Konomi Suzuki - This game (No Game No Life OP; full version)
  2. Well, not that I've played it online for a full 8 years, just from time to time... the point still stands

  3. Not that -I- mind, but an option to disable that image preview function would be nice, wouldn't it?

  6. Totally forgot yesterday's flea market find: The Settlers PC version, ca. 1999 re-release, still sealed http://t.co/KoOAH6GGu7

  7. The OZMAV2 build in the archive (Nov 10 2010 21:12:13) doesn't work because it's missing the HUD font. That said, later builds had that font integrated into the executable, so a separate font file isn't needed for them. Build Jun 14 2011 10:28:54 can be found at: https://code.google.com/p/ozmav/downloads/list Also, in case you or anyone else needs them, some more SceneNavi builds: http://magicstone.de/dzd/progupdates/SceneNavi-v10-beta6.rar http://magicstone.de/dzd/progupdates/SceneNavi-v10-beta7.rar http://magicstone.de/dzd/progupdates/SceneNavi-v10-beta9a.rar http://magicstone.de/dzd/progupdates/SceneNavi-v10-beta9b.rar ...and the source code for Beta 9b: https://github.com/xdanieldzd/SceneNavi/archive/98741fc6233d528907ff48ac76991618ad40c21b.zip
  8. He's there in any unmodified ROM, so he should've been in yours:
  9. Well, there are some non-retail OoT builds out there that haven't been leaked, as far as I can remember. I believe ASSEMbler once showed off ex. another GCN OoT build with no copyright information on the title screen whatsoever, or something like that. That's what I assumed this might be... ...but as Vixolyn mentioned, the GCN builds of OoT were exactly that - intended to be run on the GCN's N64 emulator, not an actual N64. So why would there be any builds of the game with a copyright date of 2003 and the GCN controller button colors on N64 dev cartriges? Someone's had an MQ Debug ROM, access to a flash gang writer, and an idea for a scam.
  10. All things considered, likely the same as the regular GCN OoT, just with the same debugging features the MQ Debug ROM has. Interesting, but not that exciting.

  12. Funny thing, I couldn't even find it at first, because it wasn't rendering dead center in DLViewer. Only after zooming out more, and switching back and forth between all display lists in the file, I could see something I didn't recognize, which turned out to be the flower. Zooming in onto it, then switching back and forth between it and the blue fairy made me realize it's supposed to be on her shoulder. My best guess is that her actor originally just rendered those two display lists statically, then made her bob up and down as can be seen in the video Twili linked.
  13. ... This is just the two display lists rendered at the same time, I didn't move anything around. The flower is supposed to be on her shoulder.

  15. Observation: Either German anime DVDs/BDs are expensive as hell, or UK anime DVDs/BDs are cheap as hell. Take K-ON! season 2, for example. Over here, it was released on 6 DVDs with 4 or so episodes each, each volume retailing for 27 €. In the UK, it was released, on DVD, in two parts with about 13 episodes each, with each part retailing for (converted) roughly 20 €. So, the German DVDs will cost you 162 €, while the UK ones will cost only 40 €. That's... quite the difference. And that's on each country's Amazon; you can get the UK DVDs even cheaper elsewhere - but not the German ones. Of course, the German DVDs are subbed and dubbed, and a dub likely doesn't come cheap, but even then... Maybe it's just one of those "first world problems", but I can't help but feel that they're marking up the price, higher than necessary. I did buy the German DVDs for K-ON! season 1, which was half the episode count and had the same per-volume price, but I really can't see myself getting the second season in German.
  16. Huh. K-ON!!, season 2. UK DVD w/ 13 eps = 16 €. German DVD w/ 4 eps = 27 €. Me = speechless.

  17. I'm cautiously excited for them. Generation 3 was when I lost interest in Pokemon for about six years, after playing through most of Sapphire, emulated, in Japanese. I got FireRed in 2007, 2008 or thereabouts, but only really got interested in the franchise again when HeartGold/SoulSilver were announced - remakes of my favorite mainline Pokemon games. I see ORAS here - remakes of what are probably my least favorite mainline Pokemon games - as an opportunity for me to return to Hoenn with a more open mind. I remember looking forward to the then-new games when they were just announced, with the first screenshots and pieces of artwork coming out, but then ended up disliking their aesthetics, I didn't find many of the Pokemon designs very appealing (with some exceptions, ex. Duskull and Absol), etc... So, maybe these'll be the games that make me appreciate what RSE brought to the table more?

  19. Not to mention, I'm still bitter about Kris not being in HGSS

  20. RT @FamicomDojo: Alright #Wii and #DS owners: we have a fortnight left to enjoy Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Let's make it count!

  21. I'd rather get a Famicom + NES cartridge adapter, NESRGB and a Framemeister or some other good upscaler...

  22. A binary comparison in a hex editor didn't show any differences between the file you posted and OoT NTSC v1.0's gameplay_keep, which is why I said that the file you posted is identical to the latter. If your file comes from a JPN v1.0 (or if all revisions of the game have the same gameplay_keep, not sure about that), it has to be identical to US v1.0 as the only difference between the two is the ROM's header. And btw, I just tried both, your file and the Debug ROM's gameplay_keep as individual files, in the last UoT. Neither of them renders anything, not even the Debug ROM's gameplay_keep. It's gotta be UoT's fault.
  23. Made a crappy little elevator thingy that springs you up a floor, just by pushing a button. Auto opens/closes the floor, too! <3

  24. That's identical to OoT NTSC v1.0's gameplay_keep from the looks of it - file #0498, 0x00D3A4E0 to 0x00D69CA0 in a compressed ROM, OZMAV2 calls it "0498_00D3A4E0-00D69CA0(.dec)" when extracted. No idea why UoT won't render anything, tho, probably just another bug in it?
