  1. Debugging G2Map, reads from offset w/ palette data, offset is the same as an old phone number of ours. Coincidence much?

  2. mzxrules: Hehe, nice to hear! Although I'm not even finished with my first playthrough yet... because Pokemon Y and Black 2 got in the way *cough* That aside, not a lot to report on G2Map since my last post. I did add support for an extended tileset hack for G/S by Tauwasser, which makes G/S capable of using the second VRAM bank the GBC has for additional map tiles, like Crystal. It's not terribly well tested yet, but the one G/S hack that uses it, that I tried so far, appears to work fine with the program. Edit, two more screenshots - one of said hack working fine, and another one of the now-resizeable block selection panel:
  3. Puella Magi Madoka Magica - Puella in somnio: Toaru Kagaku no Railgun - RAILGUN SHOOT: Digimon Adventure - Bolero: Additional shoutouts and/or honorable mentions go to the rest of those three OSTs, as well as - at least part of, and in no particular order - the OSTs of GA: Geijutsuka Art Design Class, Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo, Log Horizon, K-ON!, Lucky Star, Naruto, Hyouka, ...
  4. I'm not so sure about that recently, that's all. Anyway, if you want to contribute to the wiki, but you're having problems with it (registration or whatever), I could try to help. I don't think I have full access to the wiki, adminstration-wise, but I can do some things there...
  5. mzxrules has been updating the wiki as recently as April 22nd. And why is it not under "our" control anymore? Or better, under "your" control, as I'm guessing I'm not part of whatever group of people you mean. Can't register? I can create users given a username and mail address, you'll get a random password mailed there, using which you should be able to log in, etc. Rinku, maybe your issue of not being able to edit the actor list is related to this? Edit, actually, I wonder if the actor list page has simply gotten too big for the wiki to process properly or something...?
  6. ...and that's a GIF in my last tweet, so go to imgur's site to see it animate, because apparently Twitter isn't capable of that

  7. Back to the DS filesystem and model viewer thingy for a bit...
  8. Memos to myself: 1) ensure weather-appropriate clothing before leaving the house 2) fetch the damn tower fan from the basement

  9. Super-quick post about Ryuugajou Nanana no Maizoukin episode 1: So this'll basically be a big treasure hunt, for the treasures amassed by student Nanana Ryuugajou, who was murdered in her room 10 years ago, but can't rest in peace and is bound to the room now as a ghost. Sounds quite intriguing and not exactly like an anime you'd see every day, or at least I think so. Story aside, some scenes were outright gorgeous, animation-/artwork-wise, and the main characters so far seem pretty fun. Also, Nanana has good taste in video games, she's playing the PS3 version of Terraria! More details at MAL and first episode post on Random Curiosity.
  10. G2Map now supports every(?) official version of GSC, Korean GS included http://t.co/Sa0SeXIxbq #Pokemon #Gameboy

  11. That should be every single freaking official language version of Pokemon GS and C supported, unless I'm missing another European translation or something. To quote the source... Pocket Monsters Gold/Silver (Japanese v1.0) Pocket Monsters Gold/Silver (Japanese v1.1) Pokémon Gold/Silver (English) Pokémon Gold/Silver (German) Pokémon Gold/Silver (French) Pokémon Gold/Silver (Italian) Pokémon Gold/Silver (Spanish) Pocket Monsters Gold/Silver (Korean) Pocket Monsters Crystal (Japanese) Pokémon Crystal (English v1.0) Pokémon Crystal (English v1.1) Pokémon Crystal (German) Pokémon Crystal (French) Pokémon Crystal (Italian) Pokémon Crystal (Spanish) Everything in a single program, and maybe for the first time ever? Most editors for GS just focused on English and maybe German ROMs, and Crystal only had dodgy support through modified GS editors...
  12. That said, thank you @NISAinEurope for taking care of the EO series over here! <3

  13. Obviously missing a whole lot of the Korean char table, but hey, the Bulbasaur line reads out and prints correctly!

  14. The GameShark keycodes relate to the CIC lockout chip in the cartridges, not specific versions of specific games. Every N64 Zelda game uses the same CIC (6105?), which is also used by some other non-Zelda games. So, as long as he's got a game with the "standard" lockout chip (Super Mario 64's, the 6102, which the majority of games used, I believe) to initially boot the GS with, he should be fine.
  15. Happy Birthday, #Gameboy, you awesome green-screen brick you <3 http://t.co/pRad4CcOrg

  16. Yeah, whatever, to hell with the Crystal color glitches for now http://t.co/J8trzt8Z0F

  17. ...still, that's something for later, not right now... take that tweet as a memo to myself

  18. Star Fox 64? A bloody mess I tried to make sense of twice, and I don't feel like trying a third time right now. Only thing in it, that I feel might be interesting to mess with further, would be the object scripting. Plus, while a fun series of games, I have no nostalgia for any of them, unlike Pokemon Gen 2 or - take a wild guess - Zelda OoT. EDIT: Want Star Fox? Here's what I know, have fun. SF64/Overview SF64/Object Scripting
  19. ...and I've got a Goldenrod City earworm now... ahhh, GSC's soundtrack is wonderful <3

  20. G2Map now supports Pokemon Gold/Silver Japanese v1.0 and v1.1, English, German, French, Italian and Spanish, as well as Crystal Japanese, English v1.0 and v1.1, German, French, Italian and Spanish (as an example of something previously unsupported). Which is almost every version in existence, except for the Korean GS... and I'm not sure if I'll be able to support those, because of the Korean text.
  21. ~15min of my life I could've spent differently, instead of fixing something that just disappeared on me... Oh well, Ita/Spa working again...

  22. I had agreed to helping with ZB2 via PM, but I don't think we ever specified in what exact capacity I was supposed to. However, outside of maintaining SceneNavi, I want to take a break from Zelda 64/OoT hacking anyway, if not slowly fade from this field in general. We'll see about that last part in time, I guess. So, if you decide to use SceneNavi for the project and encounter any problems with the program, have suggestions to improve it, etc., I'd be happy to help. But aside from that... I don't really care about OoT and MM right now, sorry.
  23. That said (or tweeted rather) terminal program used is Tera Term from http://t.co/c5mQetJPJ5
