  1. It seems to be implied also that Sages don't age, so it could very well be the same person.

They do age at least before they become awakened as a sage--proof being with Princess Ruto becoming an adult and then becoming the Sage of Water. Haven't finished the game yet, but going by what you say it sounds like the Headmaster is never recognized as the Sage of Light, so I would say unless that particular role is an exception, they're likely not the same person, though I would not at all be surprised if Rauru from Ocarina of Time was his descendant.

  2. Pretty sure the invisible Stalfos is one of a pair, so you also need to load up its partner for either of them to show up. Can't recall off the top of my head which one is the invisible partner, but if you have access to an actor database that should definitely be documented.

  3. I'm almost positive that it's collision type. Majora's Mask does a similar thing with the diving animation as well as the cartwheels and frontflip jumps on some platforms. I am fairly certain that was confirmed to be because of the collision of the platform jumped from.

  4. OH! OH! I've got text! ...Well, a little. See, there are 3 byte long entries in JMSG that dictate what text is displayed. For instance, the text in Jabun's cutscene is 03 xx 02, where xx is a number starting at A3 increasing by one each entry. Just changing the variable changes the text. However, I have no idea how it actually gets the text from that.

Some games use a text string database with each entry corresponding to one string. It's possible Wind Waker uses a table of sorts that lists cutscene messages. How this is structured, whether it's on a per-actor or per-cutscene basis and other factors are anyone's guess at this point, though.

  5. Okami basically put it as best as I could. Projected textures are one of my favorite texture mapping tools in SketchUp as it allows you to easily and quickly texture complex, detailed objects with perfect precision. Be careful using it, though, as it's possible the textures can look highly unrealistic on objects with faces that essentially complete a 360 degree rotation--the ones perpendicular to your source of projection will looks they are colored by a gradient than properly textured.

  7. But Navi says that any child that gets lost in the woods would become a Skull Kid and Link after Majoras Mask is still a child.

Still, I don't recall Link ever getting lost in that place. I think it's probably more accurate to say that the implication of getting lost is that you die, and perhaps the magic of the forest resurrects the body in the form of a Skull Kid or Stalfos.

  8. Fairly certain neither Evanescence nor their song My Immortal is considered to be classical, but rather a branch of symphonic metal, not unlike Nightwish. To be specific, few classical songs include lyrics, and those that do are usually in the form of a literary ballad and use some strict form of rhythmic scheme (such as iambic pentameter). </nitpick>

The international anthem for blowing shit up, one of my personal favorites. While the ending is the most renown section, the whole composition is in and of itself quite remarkable and truly lives up to the namesake of the genre "classical."

  9. C'mon, DeathBasket, you of all people should know the two most obvious solutions to this problem--space folding (i.e. extradimensional transport) or data transmission via guided virtual particles.
