I don't think I could go back to ZeldaUniverse, reminds me of that time a kid tried to scam my friend Vex out of $5,000 dollars, so I tracked him down to the forums and scared the shit out of him.

I turned 17-years-old on April 4th. Anyhow, SanguinettiMods, CDi-Fails is eleven, too. B-)

I stopped using Dolphin ever since I softmodded my Wii. The speed of Dolphin was horrible, and that softmod was the final nail in the coffin. Glad I did it.

 

Dolphin requires a dual-core processor. Well, not requires, but it will make use of both cores if you have one. Once you have a dual-core of higher, you don't even need much RAM. Maybe 1GB?

I'm sorry, but it's not wise to go around basically threatening, SanguinettiMods. Cancer runs like crazy in my family. Almost every female in my family doesn't live to 50 because of it and I'm not complaining.

I'm reading 2009, 2007 here, but I'm curious: Did anyone of you get into OoT hacking and/or the "Zelda beta community" before, say, 2005 or so?

 

I know that you, Dark_Link-77, some guy named Ash, MNGoldenEagle and others did. I actually found ZSO back in 2004 (according to my old eMachines). But I doubt I knew what it was; I was probably looking for glitches or something in Ocarina of Time.

Found Zeth/64hackz back in early 2009, I think. But I would say I actually started modding when MaCo was around, which was during later November or early December of last year. Everything else I did, was nothing, nothing at all. I'll get around to releasing my assembly $H!+ when I feel the time is right.

I've been told that for a long time. I've self tested on my computer; doesn't show that it runs slower. ANYHOW, I guess get a plugin from one of the other emulators, and trial and error until you get it working.

Just run Nemu through Wine... I've never gotten Mupen64 to run correctly, although, I haven't put much time into it.

 

Spinout should be a pro and make an emulator that has all the functions of Nemu but is /easier/ for people to use.

IF you're modding to get better, just completely learn MIPS and start messing with opcodes. 8)

The only program I've had a hard time running with Wine is Renegade64, but RenegadeEX runs fine. That's because RenegadeEX is fully programmed in C and Renegade64 was programmed in VB6 and later VB6 with a C DLL to do the actual searching. I just dual boot with WinXP to run it and computer games.

I hate no one.

I would like to say, I'm sorry for getting everyone at MaCo64.com involved with the problems that were occurring. Yes, it was three months ago, but still, I'm continuing to say sorry. Anyhow, I'm probably going to return to modifying N64 ROMs; I won't start until I think the time is right, but I think the time is soon. And once I 'think' I'm 'good' at programming, I'll start releasing programs. And 'I WILL' make another website but run it on my own.

Nice to see you haven't quit modding, Zeth. You worried me.

First of all, get Fedora, it's the best. Second, simply install Wine. You'll encounter problems with a 'few' programs, but you'll get around it if you can get the source to whatever program you're trying to run. And yes, forget hex editors; learn MIPS and C. There isn't anything wrong with using a hex editor every now and again, but I would rather write scrips and such to modify my ROMs.

Hey guys, I'm currently making a recreation of the A+B test dungeon from Zelda 64 Only the first room is finished though, but I'm currently doing the room with the Keese and the Small Key next.
