I've been trying for about 3-4 months now, but I'm not really good at it yet...

You really did do a great job on these and really all I noticed that could be improved is that there were a few jagged areas in the images.

How long have you been workng with sprites/pixel art?

I would suggest staying away from ms paint default colors. If you are starting out, it may be a good idea to try to use an existing palette. You could also try to look through the custom colors and mess with the hue, lum and saturation until there is something you like, or at the very least edit the defaults.

There seems to be no lightsource in the image, and there are a few jagged areas in it.

also, I started on a toadsworth sheet in sma4/smb3gba style and I also made a few changes to the spearman and wario 

With me, I'm trying to make a full length(or atleast a long length) fangame with next to no knowledge of how to program, create sprites, or generate a decent storyline. I think it's time I figure out how to these things before I mess up the entire wario and waluigi rpg(again).

It's going to be made from scratch(can't decide over homebrew ds or a computer game at the moment), but it's still very early and I'm still trying to determine how the game is going to work out.

There have been few actual plans made so far and I still don't know exactly what to do with Red and Green-stache, but I will consider Mr. L/M as a possible idea.

Also, since there has been little progress made in the past while, I'll try to get the project back up and running again!(maybe some sprites or something along the lines)

Which Monkey Ball would you suggest? I never know which one to get.

The first one was my personal favorite of the monkey ball series

don't forget the super monkey ball, the best ones were on the gamecube

trying to make a spearman from wario land 2 in m&l rpg style, but it doesn't seem to be turning out very well(can't even get the spear right...)

(just ignore the one on the left, my first attempt...)

not much progress has been made, this project was announced a bit too early... I've been trying my best to learn c/c++, learn how to sprite a bit better and think of how to un-ruin what little bit of the game I already said...

so far I have a goomba overworld sheet, and I'm currently working on my wario overworld

blegh, finally found some time to work on my wario again

well, I'm not exactly sure if this applies to sprite ripping projects and/or custom sprite requests, but you have to be on for atleast a certain amount of time and make a certain amount of posts to request anything.

the spriters resource is always a nice place for this kind of thing and would be the easiest place to find a spriter/pixel artist(there are a few requirements before you can request things though)

Not too bad, got a nice design to it

another sprite update

I have been having a lot of trouble with my first wario sprites, so i'm going to try to animate something a little more simple like a goomba to gain some more experience before working on the bros

(also, I'm going to start the actual game in maybe a month or two! gotta make sprites and learn a bit more about c and c++)

When I'm done the sprite sheets for the bros., and figure out how to program a ds game a bit better, I'll start the development of the game
