  1. I like this. Its kinda what they were hinting towards when nintendo said they liked Lttp and thought more could have been done with it. Keep it up!
  2. Truthfully, Ura wasn't an expansion for Zelda OOT. it was just going to be an entirely new game, having nothing to do with supplementing Oot's gameplay, story, or adding anything to oot. Hell if you look at oot's data, it had partially written data for a forth tunic, 2 more dungeons, and when you connected the DD to Oot it asks for Ura Zelda, the expansion (not new game) for ocarina of time. so I'm not really caring as much as the le ura project anymore, as it wasn't a restoration, just taking a name under a false pretense and doing their own thing with it. It was amazing, but it got canceled. Truthfully, you project is at the same scale, as its a whole new story and game. Tho you might not be building as much from scratch, you are making a mod for the game that doesn't swap stuff out, and doesn't change little things. You are making new dungeons, but hey, ur not going overboard by using music that is too high of quality for the 64, you arentvusing the MM engine, and you are not inventing new aspects for Zelda OOT that didn't exist in gameplay before. all that ura had was rewritten OOT gameplay and features, added visuals for show, and uber quality music. But hey, n hindsight and in scope, it did seem like they tried to bite off more than they could chew. And hell, your project looks great and I can't wait till it is finished!!

  4. as long as you stay mature its fine, infact you didn't have to tell us your age, we really didn't care and wouldn't have looked.infact I wouldn't have known your age if you didn't say it. age doesn't matter much here.just ideas, skill, teamwork and support matter.

  6. well im also a student at ITT tech, im getting a job soon, and I manege the art aspect of a game what will be completed 5 years from now... so I really am busy.

  10. yeah, that may have been the downfall of the ura project, so lets take that as a lesson to imrove ourselves as modders.
  11. how exactly would removing the time limit change the game play?would you be adding the scrapped feature of being able to "Buy" more time? also could you explain in more detail of the significance of the ocarina of space? because if it was just a magical tune he played, a model of the fairies ocarina from OOT would suffice.
  12. I like it so far. as for my suggestions (sincee you asked in shout) well, hmm.... you know the whole Zelda timeline right? well if we were to be canon, the sages have descendants. (as shown in Link to the past, which is in the link being defeated timeline)I can see the plot going where link finds redemption in his darkness, and actually becomes tainted, but finds purity by setting things straight later down the line, setting forth the plans for killing and imprisoning Ganon's soul into 2 pieces, his evil into the realm of light (ie what becomes the dark world after ganon got the triforce), and his human part into the mortal realm (hyrule) tho if we want it canon, then link would have to have died, and believed to be dead by not only the triforce, but the goddesses too (since the triforce can only be given to the one who kills the holder of the other two halves.so I can see it end with him taking the triforce and wishing Zelda back, hyrule restored, and ganon split into two, and the triforce to be put into the realm of light (still dark and kept that way to safe guard the triforce) and the kind orders the realm to be sealed (after the imprisonment war. as stated in the hyrule historia) I wouldn't scrap the existing story line, because mine is so simplified, I think it could be incorporated into yours easily with a lot of cohesiveness.
  13. id say it could be possible, but we would have to micromanage things, ie one boss for the whole project (for Cohesiveness) , one for music and sounds, one for levels, one for texturing, one for story writing, one for modeling, one for scripting and one for piecing it all together. basically working in little groups for each individual part of the design process.
