If anyone knows a quick issue so I can fix this crc on the rom for PJ64, it would be helpful. Whenever I run the rn64crc.exe, the black command window just disappears after a little under a second.
-
Dear lord, never have I ran into this many problems. I have the program, yet everytime I try to open it, the black box pops up and immediately closes before I can even see anything. This used to happen all the time when I would try to access ipconfig.
-
On a side note, I'm getting stuck in that endless loop problem whenever I boot up the rom. I have all the correct settings to use the debug rom, though. Any ideas on this one? Today is just not my lucky day...

IT IS TIME.

10 minutes... Tick tock tick tock...

Alrighty, we will see how it works. Thanks again for all of the help and care, guys!

2 hours... I'm getting antsy...

I had a friend with W7 64 bit test it out, and it worked just fine. I'll troubleshoot this issue later, but right now I'm very upset over the whole matter. I've been trying things for about 3 hours, and I'm just going to take a break now and see how well that PJ64 works out. But thank you so much for sticking around and trying to help. I will test it out again later and tell you my results. We'll see if we can't come up with anything else.

To be honest, so am I. Here's hoping that Voyager of Time will run with PJ64 and Glide. If I even hope to get into the modding scene myself, I'll have to work out the Nemu bugs another time I guess. I'll leave this open, though, for anyone who thinks they can find a cure for this problem.

Sadly, this gives me the same results as all of the previous attempts.
-
Running as administrator gives me the exact same results as doing it normally. The odd crash. I am unsure what plugins are set for it, because regardless of what they are, I can't get in the actual program to do anything. It just crashes right away. From the plugin folder I was given, I have "1964 video, Direct 64, Glide, Jabo, and Rice (Assuming those are all plugins)".
-
Well, that sounds great. Knowing my Nemu issues, will this run properly on Project 64?

I guess it might help to point out that on both images, there are two lines that stick out to me on the Nemu window. One of them being at the top, " Exploring C: " and one at the bottom, "Initialize DirectX Device".

Now, do we know an ETA with the release? I dunno if I should plan to stay up until midnight tonight to get a quick sneak peek or not!

http://www.mediafire.com/?af5ka6kurq7jrd6 That's the two screenshots I have before and after the error. If I would have taken about 10, I might have been able to capture the rapid moving windows that start popping up right when I click on Nemu64. They appear all around the main window, but disappear within about a half a second, then I get that error that you see. Guess that was stupid of me. I forgot about the image tags.
-
It does appear that your Nemu is encountering the same error, so it is a problem on my end. This is an incredibly strange concept, though. I have no idea what would be wrong with mine. This computer in particular has never had any trouble opening or running anything until now. I do want to thank you for taking your time to help me, though. It honestly means a lot to me. I'll just wait around to see if anyone else has another solution that might help.
-
This might be a step in the right direction. It still crashes, but now allows me to proceed one screen further. I can actually see multiple folders in the Nemu64 window, instead of just a white screen. However, it still crashes shortly after.

C:UsersComputerDesktopZelda Moddingnemu64nemu64I feel so idiotic, I know exactly what directory means. I have no idea why I told you what I did, haha! I removed the space in Zelda Modding, and yet it still experiences the same crash. After checking out the properties, I saw that none of the boxes were checked.
-
Well, back to the start, my problem with Nemu is that I can't even get to a step that involves opening a ROM. I click on the program, and it immediately crashes once I am able to see the window itself. I don't believe I have ever had this type of issue before. The problem has always been quite obvious and easily fixable, but in this situation, I can't pinpoint exactly what's going on.
-
Thanks a bunch for taking the time to do that, but it still doesn't work. This is leading me to believe it is a problem with my computer itself. However, with yours, I get an extra error message before the crash. "Error accessing drive or invalid folder. Setting to C:" I'm just assuming that your directory isn't C: Right after clicking OK, I get the same crash.
-
I do not believe I have any special drivers installed on my computer, just the basic ones that come with the machine, and the one for my wireless mouse. The directory that I am running it from is the basic Nemu64 folder (the one that contains config, gs_dll.dll, kailleraclient.dll, etc...)
-
Downloading a fresh ROM gives me the same problem with the toolbox. The nemu64 issue is still the same, however, because I can't even get to the open ROM menu, considering it crashes as I open it and first see the window for it.
-
Whenever I open up Nemu64, it gives flashes of a few small windows, and then crashes before it can really let me do anything. I cannot find out the reason for this. I am running on Windows 7 64-bit. On the other hand, Hylian Toolbox will successfully open and load the debug rom, however, it crashes without warning once I click on one of the names in the "browse" menu to the right. Any ideas guys?

Giad, I just want to let you know on a personal level that I'm very proud of you for all the work you put into this mod. You promised, and you will be delivering in just one more day! I am so happy to hear that everything worked out for you. It doesn't matter if your work isn't on the same scale as URA, you are putting in your honest effort and love into this project to make sure that it comes out nicely. Just because you can't have fancy new dungeons, items, bosses, maps, and everything, doesn't make this a bad mod whatsoever. Just seeing hard work like this released, no matter what scale it is on, makes me happy and very proud of you. Once again, kudos to you.
