    Issues with nemu64

I tried all the plugins and the debug rom directly in c:. What I don't get is why every rom (including MM) plays except OoT

    Issues with nemu64

Error accessing drive or invalid folder. Setting to C: Other than that roms and plugins run fine... With the exception of OoT either the regular or debug. I guess it might be the VM but it seems weird that only OoT doesn't work. I'll head down to my office and try it on my Hackintosh.
  3. I think I'm actually gonna get that film myself. It was really good.

Yeah I tried that already. I've also tried using glide and Rice but I couldn't get Rice plugin to even install without an error.
  5. Any chance of a breakdown? In English? lol

    Issues with nemu64

I'm having trouble getting OoT or MM running in nemu. So first off I'm running it in a virtual machine using VMware on my iMac. I know everyones going to jump to the conclusion that its the VM buuuut, every game I have thrown at nemu runs at more or less full speed except for the two Zelda games. I've changed RDRAM size to 8MB and I'm running Jabo 1.5.2... I take that back, I just tried running MM again and it runs fine. So basically its only OoT. I get the error "Nemu64 has stopped running" I've tried running it in project64 and it works fine. Any thoughts? Edit: I forgot to mention, this is with both the normal rom and the debug rom
  7. I think I have but I don't recall. That was awesome. Is that map based on the Hyrule Town Market from TP I was working on something similar for OoT. Is importing maps into MM as simple as importing into OoT?
  8. Sorry to bump an old topic, but I thought this had some decent stuff in it. That and I couldn't find the topic the good ol Colonel created (By all means point me to it). Sooooo, wondering if in the past year anyone has done anything interesting with MM. With the URA team moving the project to the MM engine I was hoping to see some cool things that weren't really too show offy of URA and could be shared with the community.
  9. Though I post little, I love following peoples projects and this is one that is so simple and so effective I'm surprised no one has done it sooner. This is really awesome. Also love the frequent updates!
  10. I remember on Sky like 15 years ago there was a channel called Astra that explained everything about the satellite and how it works and it just looped over and over 24/7, use to watch it all the time, lol.
  11. Freakin awesome! Great work man, never fail to impress. Can't wait to give this a whirl.
  12. Gaepora is not Raura, confirmed by Aonuma. They just named him that because the character designs were similar.
  13. Or they could just say... "Uh?" "huh?" "Haaat!" "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah" Now that I think about it, that Ghost would so play more in line if he was Timeline 3, but I guess he would need a Hylian shield.
  14. But Navi says that any child that gets lost in the woods would become a Skull Kid and Link after Majoras Mask is still a child.
  15. Indeed. I like to believe he got out and had some next adventure.
  16. What Naxy said. Also, if Link was lost in the Lost Woods as most people like to say, he would become a Skull Kid not a Stalfos.
  17. I don't think he never finds Navi, as the quote never says that, the ghost of the hero of time is clearly an adult and the last time we see link he is a child, so theres at least another seven years of adventure left for him.
  18. Heres an example of a shortcoming in SS. In the cutscenes in Skyloft when the camera pans above and you can see the cross hatching of the trees where you can see its just 2D layers cross to create a 3D effect. Sure from far away its a good trick but that was what they were doing on the N64 and to expose in a cut scene I think is a bit silly, like a magician revealing his illusion, some people might not even notice it, but it just shows that the Wiis time is coming to an end and this is the best it can do, which I think SS has shown and its a great way to bow the console out.
  19. I think the boss looks very good... For a Wii game.
  20. I think hes referring to the way people are addressing each other.
  21. I was high, lol. No, as I said, if you enjoy them more, then all fairness to you, but on a technical level, they do not touch Battlefield, fact!
  22. Exactly what I was talking about. Since when were the graphics in OoT or MM bad? You might think they are, but I don't. For one they are N64 games, compared to any other games at the time they were best looking around, if they weren't they would not get near perfect scores. The graphics in MM even surpass those in OoT and in my opinion still look great today. What your doing is looking for gaes that may have aged and possibly not aged well. Starfox - Good game - Good Graphics Mischief Makers - Good game - Good Graphics Perfect Dark - Good game - Good Graphics Conkers Bad Fur Day - Good game - Good Graphics Tomb Raider - Good game - Good Graphics Bomberman - Good game - Good Graphics Links Awakening DX - Good game - Good Graphics Zone of the Enders - Good game - Good Graphics Metal Gear Solid - Good game - Good Graphics Resident Evil - Good game - Good Graphics Most of the new generation Sonic games - bad games - Good Graphics Conduit 1 and 2 - bad games - Good Graphics for the Wii 3D MK games before the relaunch Bad games - Good graphics Now I can't think of any games that are great and have shit graphics. Look at the contenders for game of the year, Portal 2, Arkham Asylum, Skyward Sword, Uncharted 3 and Skyrim, all great look games, I mean they are really up there. Theres something you so did not get from my post, which was... Graphics don't matter. Great games will nearly always have great graphics. Shit games have good graphics. What I'm saying is you can't tell just by looking at it, you actually have to play it, because lets face it, nowadays most games look good and if they don't most of the time they are shit like. The great thing about the Wii and to an extent DLC is that it given developers a challenge, to make something look good with the limitations they were given and people have been really pulling it out of the bag. Games like Braid and Bit Trip look amazing. Also I'd just like to point out, Battlefield 3 is one of the best looking games ever made along with Crysis. You might say the artists style of SS is better and you prefer it, but the graphics are no way better and if you do think that your being blinded by Zelda vision.
