    hello gcn

    Welcome, welcome

    This or That?

I haven't played either, but I'm going ME3, purely because I have some grounding in previous ME games recently. It's not a fair judgement. Penny Arcade or Questionable Content? (Both are webcomics.)

Big Bang Theory. I've found it more consistently funny. Digital or acoustic instruments?
  5. I'm honestly not looking forward to E3 anywhere near as much as I used to. Zelda, Half-Life. I don't know if I really want to see another Animal Crossing game unless Nintendo reworks it a bit. Also, I want to see a platform game from Rare with a new IP of some kind.
  6. Oh I know. I mean, you'd have a unique ID on the session lock, which would be linked to the account and CD key of the owner.

That. Boxers or briefs/panties(panties inclusive of thongs)?
  8. That's odd. I have all my xml files in the program root and all the obj and texture files in their own folders.
  9. Yeah, I really just...it's like a room full of crying toddlers.
  10. I suppose. Even so, you can send a session lock once at the beginning and end of gameplay.
  11. You know what? They did the online thing so that character saves are cloud based. But they could just have it sync up with the server at the end of the session instead of having it rely on a constant connection. DERP.

    This or That?

We don't have the good Captain's crunchy cereal here, so it'll have to be Trix. Man or woman? (context withheld for amusement of all)
  13. It doesn't. It's just the demo's xml file that does that. I think he moved it all into the 'demo' folder after testing it, so the file paths in that file are bad. I'll probably provide a new demo dungeon for the new version anyway, something that's a bit bigger and more fun for new map builders to play with.

That's a tricky one, since a lot of mangaka have very cluttered styles that make reading what's happening difficult sometimes, but all in all, I usually prefer manga. Ice-cream or gelati?

    This or That?

Offline. I like having my opponents within easy reach >:3 Raymond E. Feist or George R. R. Martin? ...not a fair question if you haven't read them both. Alternately, ATI or nVidia?
  16. Depending on how situations pan out, I might be in and out over the coming weeks. My housing situation is tenuous, and I'm desperately looking for a place to live and a job. So I might not be about.
  17. For 3D modelling, if you're going to use it at all, my honest recommendation is to use SketchUp for blocking out your geometry and then importing it into Max or Blender to fix up UV mapping and scaling. It depends on how you work, I suppose.

    This or That?

Desert. Dead or Alive or Tekken?
  19. Because of the overflow, the vertex order likely changed and rotated the orientation of the mapping. It can happen.
  20. Max doesn't have a restrain UV function, no. But a lot of the UVs on the model you sent me were over 100 on the U axis, and 16 on the V axis. Shifting them back closer to the origin fixed a lot of the errors, the remainder I see at the moment were outlying verticies that I didn't notice.
  21. I will be very surprised if this game doesn't see an english language release anywhere considering that it has a pretty big fanbase among english speaking people.
  22. I can't believe nobody else on that forum noticed the switch when it happened >_>;
  23. I would really urge people to learn to use at least Blender rather than SketchUp, since it has a proper UV editor. If you can get your hands on a copy of 3dsMax or Maya, I preference both of those above Blender, but for this kind of work anything is better than SketchUp. There is another option, though. You can make the model and texture it in SketchUp and then edit the UVs in Blender or any other program that has a UV modifier. You'll probably get a far more correct obj output from Blender, too.
