Nevermind haha! The confirmation email showed up in my spam folder eventually. I have access to my old account now! Also I changed my display name a while ago to be more in line with my other online accounts.

Amazing work so far! Very professional looking.

Neat. I love the wall of text you dropped in the comments section there, zeth. 😉

Looking cool. Keep going!

I was actually hoping to have the option to use motion controls. Option, of course. I wouldn't want to have people forced to use them but I'd still love to try them out. Mostly because I always felt a sort of connect to skyward sword. Watching gameplay videos even 4+ years after release, I notice myself instinctually flinching in time with sword swings or enemy movement. It felt like a natural improvement on the formula and although I can understand people not wanting to be uncomfortable with constant wrist movement, I feel it would still be possible to make it work if the movement was mapped to the right stick.

You posted this as I was typing. Bad timing eh?

A - Ha! Well, you've come to the right place at least. Nice timing too, the wounds have long since healed but there are enough people around to tell you about him. Maybe Shadowfire would be best for this but in short.. ZethN64 (the name at least) is gone. I think it was around mid last year that he made a brief return under his new alias (?) but since URA zelda has not really done much in the modding scene. I'm assuming you know about Zeth and Ura. Again, Shadowfire would be best for this, I think he would be still in touch with the guy still.

The gameplay mechanics have been mostly showed off but you're right in that we currently have no idea what the game will have story, character, item, dungeon or general scale wise.

I have no idea at all how an emulator works but I do know it takes quite a bit of work. Good luck, then! Sorry I can't help more. Maybe I could design the logo or something.(^ï¼ï¼¾ï¼‰

Oh wow, truly a necrobump for the ages! ; ) Not sure about the rennaissance project but I do know there have been some cool developments in Zelda OoT realistic texture mods lately. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8HqQsZEc_AE&index=16 This pack for example can be used on the Dolphin emulator for the gamecube Zelda collection. There is a really cool cheat code that allows 60FPS gameplay as well (albeit a little buggy).

If I recall correctly, the image had been proven fake even before this thread was created. Very quickly after it spread it was shut down as a hoax.

Welcome back, I guess! Do you know who I am? My last name was BornstellarMEL. I remember a while ago ZethN64 had retuned to the site for a little bit under a new alias. It was nice to have closure since the bit of drama way back when. Sort of sad to see this site slow down so much but I'm sure something good will come eventually that'll re ignite this community. Bring some new blood in.

Hello! Sorry you haven't received a reply yet. Things have been a little slow around here lately. What kind of games do you make? Got any examples? I'd love to try some.
-
I gotta try this when I can!
-
No shout out to me. Oh that's fine. I've only been here since 2012.

Okay cool. I've done another level. Here: C223-0000-01C4-AB38 I'll admit, I tried and I tried but I just couldn't complete it without a secret door at the start. It is possible but too hard for me. I'll try out your levels now shadow. Alright I've tried your level now. Couldn't do it man.
-
Whoops. Sorry I haven't been uploading any levels lately. School. I'll check out some of yours soon, shadow.
-
I tried sending you that request when I played your first level a week ago though. I've accepted yours now. My current course is about half way done. I'll try to get it done soon.
-
Your first level was certainly hard but I honestly did find it refreshing once I'd completed it. The difficulty was fair enough to feel like a satisfying challenge. I'ts inspired me to create a more difficult (NES castlevania style difficult) level next time. I'll see what I can do. Oh, and I tried to send you a friend request but the button was greyed out. Maybe you have the option disabled.
-
Alright, I've tried both them out now. That first course doe.. Very hard. Maybe I just suck. I really like the alternate routes you made but I'd probably suggest more scrolling time in the beginning to intake the information. The second level was much easier, don't usually like water levels but this was okay. Again the alternate routes were a nice addition. The length as well was pretty good. I'll try to make my next course longer too.

Your art is pretty good. Not too fond of digital manipulation style digital art but that star fox one is amazing though.

Thank-a you for playing! I tried to keep them simple to make them more similar to actual Mario levels and to maximise their fun factor.

And I've finished another. 5F45-0000-015D-8598 Let me know what you think. Maybe a bit too hard?
