  1. I'm pretty sure this project has been canceled. Or at least postponed, I can't remember what PJC's final decision was. And youtube videos are at the top...

I think, too. Like the most of the community projects -.-

yes we don´t work on it anymore .. maybe we start again with it but its not sure

you can see videos on my ( alphaheiti ) and PJC´s ( PJCLink ) youtube channel

Sorry I haven't confirmed my final decision. My final decision was that the mod was to be postponed, I was going to cancel it but Octorok and to coool managed to convince me not to so I decided to temporarily postpone it. Sorry I didn't let you guys know sooner. Anyways if any of you want me to work on it again, I'm free to do so. :D

  2. Do you -have- to have NES textures?

For now yeah. I see nothing wrong with the NES graphic style anyways, it seems to fit.

A Link to the Past textures would be better, but it's your game... I'll play it either way, I'd just enjoy it more with ALttP textures.

I have thought about using better graphics such as ALttP graphics type style but the two problems with that are that I'm lazy when it comes to designing sprites and that the way program was set up is that any graphics used has to work right with the right palettes and stuff which I'm also lazy when it that as well. The only I can use better graphics for the fan game is if someone can help me with that.

I like it! I don't care if it's NES Zelda, on the contrary, I'm glad it is, it's different and new!

I'm glad you like it. :P

    Description:

Hey everyone, I started this cause I got bored and plus I wanted to announce this fan-game I've been working for way over a year now called Zelda: Magic Keys. Magic Keys is currently being developed by using a program called Zelda Classic. I've been making test run Zelda fan games with ZC for years since I was a young teen adolescent. So I have some good experience with program. During those years of experience, I at one time used to attempt to work on making a three quest Zelda fan-game called Zelda: Ancient Master Sword. It was supposed to be a Wind Waker and Phantom Hourglass sequel. The three quests that were supposed piece together to form into the one whole game had their own titles as well. The threes quests part of AMS were called Vaati's Revenge, Vaati's Havoc of Darkness, and Chaos of Ganon. I always wanted to make a fan sequel to WW and PH so that's why I attempt make AMS but unfortunately, the fan game didn't succeed. However when Spirit Tracks came around, I saw hope for myself to be able to make a new and more better fan game with ZC. That's when the Magic Keys fan concept stepped in to play. So here I am working on Magic Keys with ZC 2.5. I use a 2.5 build for ZC cause Magic Keys is supposed to be advanced from any original classic Zelda.

Anyways if anyone who has experience with ZC or ZC 2.5 that wants to help, please feel free to ask me. All you will need is:

    1) Zelda Classic 2.5 Build 1296 which can be downloaded from shardstorm.com

    2) Some experience with programming

    3) Sprite Designing experience

    4) Scripting experience(optional)

    That's pretty much it.

  4. Decompress the Debug ROM? It's already decompressed. Do you mean extract all files from it, resulting in spot00_room_0, object_sk2, etc., etc.? If it's that, several programs can do that, OZMAV2 for example. Open the ROM in OZMAV2 and type "extract" in the console.

Yeah, I just realized that. Basically, what I'm really trying to figure out is how to inject modded files into the debug rom without braking it.
  5. Sorry if I'm hijacking this thread but this program may come in more useful:

It's something I started ages ago but never got close to finishing (as in I've only done about 5% of what I planned). I saw this thread so I decided to dig out my terrible program and compile it.

Credit to the people who found information I used (or was using) - namely sakura, Flotonic and myself.

    Cool.
  6. Hey everyone. The title says it all. Anyways, can someone please tell me if it's possible to mod Dampe's grave and turn it into a dungeon or a mini-dungeon? Me and my team for the Ocarina of Skyward mod have been struggling with turning Dampe's grave into a dungeon or at least mini-dungeon for Ocarina of Skyward. If it is possible to do so, then can someone please help us with that? I would really like to be free to explore the entire place in-game, it's just so dungeon-like and plus it contains so many mysteries that it drives me crazy.

  7. I'm pretty sure Ninty won't release it THAT late. It would anger Zelda fans worldwide.

True, they probably won't release it that late but I know that they're definitely gonna end releasing it sometime in 2012 for both systems just like they did with TP.
  8. don't expect SS for the Cafe AT ALL, as I doubt Ninty would make such a thing.

Actually going by what I've been hearing about SS, I do believe that they are mostly gonna end up doing the same thing they did with TP. My prediction is that SS will come on "project cafe" sometime in December 2012 and on Wii in January 2013. I find that very obvious because they're already planning on making us Zelda wait longer anyways even the game's development is already finished, right now they're just adding "finishing touches(yeah, right)" and preparing for release(rrright, I'd believe that when it's 2012). That's just my opinion though.
  9. for the sword .

it would be much easyer to use sengunetti´s tp sword port because it looks almost exactly like the one from ss.

I talking about the sheath for the master sword not the master sword itself(more like in this case herself). Anyways that would be a good idea too but I recommend that Sanguinetti should know about this first since he is part of the team.
