Yeah, that's the hacked ROM... by Cendamos, and others... that was when they fixed a room that was broken in the original. You can fix the scene for besitu by changing the ROM address for besitu_room_0 to be the correct address... As for the room in the castle, the Arwing will still be there because of how badly they had to mess up the room, but I could release a patch fix for it if you're really interested. Might take me a little time to get it cleaned up, but I should have a decent patch ready in about a day if I'm not tired or sick. I feel motivated enough to do so.

My finding is that the animation can only be copied from another actor with 2 conditions: 1. the actor must have the same number of limbs as the donor 2. the limbs have to be in the same order and placement similar to the animation you want to achieve. However, if rule 1 is satisfied, you can alter the animation somehow to be in the proper order if rule 2 is not correct, but that is up to you to figure it out. Are you having difficulties assigning the imported animations to the actor's AI? You need to change the offsets for them to work in-game, but also make sure the 2 guidelines are followed. But, you can also just make new animations and change the offset of the animation you're swapping in the AI.

Uncensored Cruis'n USA project - help needed! (Nintendo 64)
Airikita replied to CruisnEma's topic in Modifications
Try using Tile Layer Pro, or SNESPal.exe which is aimed to finding palettes and tiles in SNES games, but it can be used for just about anything. You can always just use Tile Molester, which you can find any tile. I haven't tested SNESPal.exe on N64 games, but it might work. -
I was thinking about the logo, but I was too tired to check... I was pretty sure the title screen logo was off. Still, I modified the logo for ZEY, so I forgot. I'm still not going to check, but I mean... I THINK the one I have has the blue title screen logo, but don't quote me on that. Of course, I have the modified Debug ROM, with the screwed up room in Ganondorf's collapsing castle... >_> Which I fixed for ZEY.... but the castle will be replaced later anywayz.

I remember finding a float value on the Iron Knuckle that changed the size of the slash from its axe, and I ended up shrinking it really small. Like I mentioned in my float editor, the values do a multitude of things, but you have to find them yourself.
-
Um, I think it's just the slash effect you get when swinging a weapon (sword), so you could always change how wide a range Link can hit something by changing the animations.

You are cool! Don't be a downer. No-one is singled out here. :3

Yes... here's the deal, though, I don't remember Dark Link being in that room in the original... I could be wrong, but the first time I had the Debug ROM, Dark Link was not in that room.

I used to play this game, back in Furcadia... it's a memory that was so good, I just couldn't forget it: I was a real good escapee, gunslinger, and fed-killer in this dream. Nobody was able to touch me (for the most part), and it drove the feds crazy. Run around shooting, and they could never shoot me or cuff me (which would send me to jail). I mean, one touch from a Fed, and you're busted. You can shoot a Fed infinitely if you can survive them! Some days I was just so good, they had to shout-out to tell me to turn myself in, or get banned from the dream. There were even drugs, which would get you busted. Just items that would create puffs of smoke, which would me "illegal" and the cops would have to arrest you. Fun little things. But the drugs, I found, were a pretty weak way to get caught, so I always just shot them out like ducks. Some days they would try teaming up on me. I was in a building once, with some guys, saying I could try out the drugs for a few seconds without a cop popping in yet. I tried to just ignore it, but then I was like "whatever", and puffed for a few seconds... then I guess I lulled-out, and went too long messing around. Fed pops in, and laughs at me smoking. Then he spawns fences to trap me in. I did it a few times later on, because I was just being lazy then... lol. The Feds were like "wow, you're getting lame with drugs Airikita..." which I KNEW they wanted more FUN out of me. Xion was big-time on the gun shooting, but didn't openly say it. So he just started this label "drug addict" and I needed "rehab", lol... he was trying to slap me around for getting busted over drugs, and I could tell he was bored. Decided to have some fun, though, surprise Xion one day... I hid a nice riffle (shoots a good 3 square line of bullets... hard to dodge that in my hands) on one side of the city hidden behind a good spot where there was an opening behind some tiles... a nice hiding spot in-between buildings. I then went to the other side of the main street, where the feds sat on a bench in the middle. Found some drugs, and prayed that nobody would find my gun (you had to buy them from a shop... and sometimes I found people stealing my hidden guns, so I usually ended up running. Possibly why I just messed with the drugs, lol). I ran past Xion, and a few others, and even circled around in front puffing smoke. Xion was afk, not moving, and the other feds sat there all like "oh, drugs again? She's all yours Xion..." and he would get up like "ah... dammit, whatever" then we had a chase. He wasn't shooting me, but I suspected he knew my fleeing was a bit different. I tried to lose him, running... he found a gun, and stopped to pick it up... he doesn't do THAT unless I'm armed, so I knew he figured I was up to something... lol. I ran for my rifle, which was still there. Once he came around, he ran past, but I chased him out and had a gun-duel. I didn't falter, but my skills were weak from not caring over time. I don't really remembered if he noticed or not... Later on, that is when the fun started, and I move to this comic... a hilarious incident played out involving a chase after weeks of more chases. I got better, and was really back to the full chase. I ended up running so fast, he went off-screen. I ran fast like a racecar, and bolted behind a building (behind some tiles) so that my name was even covered. Scared, I expected him not to notice... I mean, I think a pixel stuck out... but he didn't notice because of how my character's hair blended with the ground. Sometimes he can spot me. Thinking he would run, he stopped in the middle of the street. Without shouting (talking to himself) he said "I'm going to get you Airikita.." my heart was racing, so in a quick reaction, and impulse of wanting to SHOOT him so badly (getting my game back on) I ran out, and shot him from behind. I wasn't so calm and collected as this comic shows, because I freaked out. It was SO easy, and my mind was racing. I fled so fast... he raged over shout chat so everyone could hear. Probably along the lines of "YOU'RE SO DEAD AIRIKITA!!!" I just remember being a real pain in the ass after that... LOL, good times. (Until they limited weapons, and imposed bans for run-aways, which defeated the whole point of the game... yeah, and most of the Feds quit after the new rules... became more of a public free-for-all, where I missed playing with Xion and others)

803D7B80 - when Link swings his sword or spin attack You might need to breakpoint, and change values... they are likely float values, and that is probably not the spot for the collision box, but you can start looking from there.

It has 5 offers. I hope one of them will be a hero, and dump that ROM. Actually, looking at the video... it looks like the hacked ROM, but I could be wrong. Seems like it might be a scam, because those prototype carts are erasable. Someone could have gotten the Debug ROM and wrote it to the cart... easily.

Zelda's Eternal Youth Hack - [MORE UPDATES!!!]

Hm, if that's in the collectable item actor, that could be easy to do. For now, the rupees are not on my list... but I'll note it. I have other problems to fix. -
Zelda's Eternal Youth Hack - [MORE UPDATES!!!]

Had some time to switch the Slingshot for the Fishing Rod: The fun parts: - Switching Slingshot texture to Rod - Text to match Fishing Rod information - Replacing Slingshot GI model with a Fishing Rod item - Making the Rod usable everywhere (this means likely adding the group to every map... just like Epona, no big deal, but still a lot of work. - And... allowing Link to "Put Away" the Rod (wish me luck on this one... though might be easier than I anticipate hopefully...) Some ideas: Giving Rupees for Fish caught, or just put the fish in a bottle? Might fix being able to use bottle to catch fish, and force Link to use the Fishing Rod. Last size caught will mark the selling price. Should be interesting. I'm not expecting to follow through on this, but I might even make the fish useful another way? Maybe Fish could be used as special dungeon keys. I could make Fishing the only way to earn Rupees. Hmmm... except for one-way dungeons. EDIT: Japanese text says: "Key to the boss room" (Google Translated) -
I see. I didn't think the flower had a position, since it was dead-center in the viewer. Guess I didn't notice. At least we know where it goes then, easy fix. (I'm such a goofball, I found that flower by accident... go figure, lol)

Too bad she doesn't have a hierarchy to check that... lol xdaniel. Looks like it fits, but you could even put it in her hair.

I think so... then it would replace the spiral healing effect.

I probably need to dye my hair soon... though it's not quite noticeable yet. I also didn't notice you lived in Canada? (Don't ask me why, lol) You look pretty. :3 -
I have Gold for the DS... I feel like that was the perfect remake, and it's going to be difficult to follow up. If it is just another 3D remastered remake, with some additional content, there's nothing making me buy the game. But if the game explodes with animations, styles, and better music, then I'll go ga-ga over it. I enjoyed Gen 3, but it was surely then just where I felt like breaking off... The later generations were just sad attempts... Gen 5 had no interesting content, aside from the 3D perspective on the battles, and the Pokemon were not very memorable. Although, the only great thing about Gen 5 is the stats will surprise you. No competition against Mewtwo, but the stats on the Pokemon are better than most generations. But heck, I still don't find Gen 3, 4, and 5 too memorable.. The adventure was unique in Gen 3, though the GBA remake of Pokemon Fire Red and Leaf Green had a better feel to it. Maybe from nostalgia, but the old Gen 1 in a newer light was great, considering it was black and white/green from Gameboy... So the whole fresh color scheme just had a wonderful feel. A remake of an already vibrant and colorful game is meaningless to me.

I was thinking of something similar with code, but I don't think I'd do it for all NPCs... I mean, you could make the Gerudo into any other NPC, and knock them out.

Decided to try a different style: I'm starting to feel better after getting outside, and not letting myself sleep too much... keeping up the mood when I have the opportunity. -
Hm, I'll be sticking with the fan games... though I have gotten tired of Pokemon games, the memories live on for me. It's a shame they didn't release more content than that, kind of a sad video tbh..

Maybe, like the sparkle dust would be flowers instead of sparklies?

Yes, life when being a frontrunner is difficult, but small steps is all you need to do if you feel like continuing the project. Most of the time I end up messing around with my hacks as I get overstressed with other things. I'm starting to realize this were to be no different if I did a Game Designing project. -
Zelda's Eternal Youth Hack - [MORE UPDATES!!!]
Airikita replied to Airikita's topic in Modifications
Hi everyone, just coming forward with an update needing some assistance... Lately it has been a rough few weeks (once again), and I've been struggling to work on a map I wanted to import. SO, since I have only opened it to see it is a mess, and I could not bring myself to edit any of it as I had to lay down and rest LOTS from depression, I am asking the community to help me out with 2 maps. The first one is this: I know it's just UV mapping, but I really need to get out. Plus the grass looks poopy compared to rendering in blender. I don't care so much of the pathway is misaligned, but if anyone wants to help touch up this map, that would be helpful. Another one is a bit of an oddity... I need a dungeon to look like a digestive system. Not Jabu-Jabu, which is more horizontal, but something vertical and more realistic (I guess using the Magic School Bus episode would be a good start on the concept), but with more rooms, etc... I plan on adding the water, but maybe someone would like to offer making the map? Considering how much I need to do, the maps are becoming a hassle lately.
