  2. Hey guys, I'm looking for Zelda 1.0 or 1.1 or 1.2 files... mainly maps and scenes. If someone has them, can anyone zip them and send them to me? I would gladly appreciate it.

  4. At least with this patch (if MediaFire cooperates today >.>), you can edit actors to your liking. The ground-pound move still does damage, imo the multiple orbs he summons above his head doesn't do any damage if you're rollin', so they're kind of useless... but you can easily change the orbs he creates to something else if you find it.

    Is there anything that determines fog density and type in a scene/map? Seems like even when I change the floor collision in besitu, it improves things a bit, but the effects are choppy. I looked through the headers, and can't seem to find anything.

    Yes, and it's likely spawned by Ganondorf's actor because it's just his file. Yet there is a lot of things in Ganondorf's file, possibly energy orbs, and maybe something we haven't seen before. It's worth a look when I can get around to it.
  9. I should add... you should allow any RAM segment to be entered. Some segments have 8X aside from the usual 03-06, etc.. Virtual addressing-wise. Actor files sometimes contain display lists, and you will find this in ovl_En_Ganon_Organ as well as the Arwing, and Ganondorf has some hidden display lists that I would love to decipher in a current investigation I did to his AI file.

    If anyone wants a patch to battle Ganondorf in room 116, here's a download for everyone: http://www.mediafire.com/download/np2l0wl4fiktpka/GanondorfBesituPatch.ppf EDIT: changed to play Ganondorf's organ in beginning. EDIT2: I found display lists buried in Ganondorf's AI, it has the same formatting as the Arwing's display lists. I'll fix it around later and update this topic when I get around to it.

    Well, if someone could open up the boss room for MM and take a screenshot of a side perspective, much would be appreciated. We can then compare the geometry, and look at the differences from a bird's-eye view. Sadly SceneNavi doesn't support MM roms (the one I have).

    Yeah, I found it was wrong... anyways, I will edit this post once I have the video of the battle posted. It may not be Ganondorf's real room, but it fits so well. Also, for some reason it was spawning the Arwing... I have no idea why the room never crashed since the address for the map was all wrong. :\ My ROM was messy. EDIT: The epic battle in besitu: If you select cutscene 00 or 01 in the menu select for room 116, it will bring you to Ganondorf's death scene. You don't even have to insert Ganondorf to get there.

    Well it isn't conclusive, but it does mean that it will work here. I got Ganondorf to work in Lon Lon Ranch where he wasn't at position 0, 0, 0... Also, Ganondorf's actors are not 0, 0, 0 positioning... it is -5, 10, 2 (x, y, z). His actor is dead center.

    I added Ganondorf's actors in the hex editor from ganon_boss_room0 to besitu_room0, and check it out: It lines up perfectly.

    Okay, it's just collision data then... and well, Cendamos was the one who mentioned it was a 1:1 match in geometry. The room is out of place though, you have to admit. The MM theory isn't far off, but if that was leftover from pre-MM, I think there'd be more similarities to MM found in the game (aside from young Epona, etc..). I mean the "fixed" OoT has MM logos for those blocks etc... but that came much later after these rooms existed. EDIT: Looking at the room myself, it doesn't look like a match though. (but nearly identical aside from textures) Comparison: Could be an ex-Dark Link room for all we know too...

    Alright, I'll take a look at those... I'm feeling better now, but I want to avoid digging around in the ROM if I can... then again I know my way around actors, and I should be able to sort through files. I was mainly looking at the format of the cutscene data in besitu_scene.zscene, and it has an old formatting which is interesting... instead of just calling the actor value once and continue a sequence list, it repeats values per line... also, something really interesting with 00000007: 00000007 0008 000B 0000 7FFF 0000 0000 00000007 000B 0000 0000 7FFF 0000 0000 00000007 0000 0003 0000 7FFF 0000 0000 00000007 0003 000C 0000 7FFF 0000 0000 00000007 000C 000F 0000 7FFF 0000 0000 00000007 000F 0004 0000 7FFF 0000 0000 From what I gather, it has these frame segments: 0008 to 000B 000B to 0000 0000 to 0003 0003 to 000C 000C to 000F 000F to 0004 Either I'm looking at this wrong, or these are frame segments for cutscene actor 0000007, and 0008-000B, 000B-0000, and 0003-000C conflict with each other... that or there are duplicate actors doing different things at once in this sequence. Of course I could be wrong about this data, and it could mean something else (probably geometry). Still, Strongbox Warp looks like Ganondorf's room (where he plays the organ).
  19. Music is an anomaly... I have not found one in the list that crashed like you said, but it's interesting you mentioned that. Things will happen for unexpected reasons. I'm sure there's an explanation, but I can't say for sure. To me it sounds like you changed something in the sequence itself, not saying you did though.

    Could you direct me to a specific post? All post numbers have a tag... I also suck at reading bundled text, one of my flaws that's probably not obvious here because of how I work. Also the downloads are no good. I need a list, ex: ## - Zelda's Horse ## - Ganondorf's Horse etc... Is there a list like that?

  24. The instrument sets are different, so you can't always just "switch" themes, you need to match the instrument set to hear the full sequence. I remember importing music and making that mistake. My guess is the freezing is a result of the sequence using a track that doesn't exist in the current instrument set from the theme you swapped it with.

    I just need the notes, but the tool might help too. Strongbox Warp contains some cutscene data (seems to lack camera data, but that might be irrelevant). Also, it is believed it is related to Ganondorf's boss room before it was scrapped... Cen found the geometry to be identical to Ganondorf's organ room.
