  1. It happens, just take your time to think of ways to work around it. There's always a roadblock with these kinds of things. I screwed up on mine, but I'm on the right track. Buuuut, things are not looking pretty... like, I have to start digging out the rotted crap... I'm kind of pissed at the fact that the texture that was converted was the wrong format (somehow) even though the image was loaded as the proper type. But hey, it's all good to figure out new things. I'm still debating on if I want to fix it or not, because... well... it's a pain. Good thing I still have a clean/working ROM. I always keep telling myself to back up things when they work, and I completed something. I'm pissed off as shit over the formatting of things on Unicat though... look at me ramble, I'm stressed and tired from other things lately. I'll go crash like a drunkard now. Uhhhhhh, I have so much stuff I need to review for exams... time to take some Buckleys (if you know what I'm talking about).
  2. Pretty much. Probably should have titled this "door objects found in AI".
  3. DL77, you should be posting this on pokecommunity.com, the people there will use it more.
  4. Listening to the legendary theme (victini's theme) for Pokemon Black/White, remixed: I have a few others like it too that are good.
  5. So I'm looking at my Unicat texture. The FD has setting 10 (rgba16), and the texture itself is.... 0x200 in length! When I convert Unicat's texture with SoulofDiety's texture converting tool, it is supposed to be 0x1000 in length... So, I don't know what happened with your tool, but SoD's texture converting files are highly accurate when it comes to converting a TGA to an exact RAW of OoT's textures. I imagine this might be causing a crash. Yay, now for the fun part of re-arranging stuffz! But I need to get back to my essay...
  6. Practically all doors that slide, or are in dungeons. The wooden doors you see in Castle Town Market and Kakariko Village are an exception, because the wooden door is a completely different actor. It opens outwards where as this door animations vary, but stick with sliding outwards or inwards.
  7. Is it? I want to know... if this user is posing as DL7, I have a problem with that. He doesn't type like DL7, sounds younger to me.
  8. There's Windows Movie Maker if you have Windows, idk what other options are available for other platforms.
  9. Hmmmm... okay well... I'd have to dig through that code again, and it's nearly exam time. I have the notes somewhere, and seeing as we have something to go by, this will be my first holiday project when I have time.
  10. From what I could tell, it changes the textures... I'm guessing... you might be right about the shiny coat, but the name makes me curious... No spawning or model rendering. EDIT: I spawned it from Jabu Jabu during the cutscene when Jabu swallows Link, replacing the sparklies that appear to represent the air being sucked into Jabu's mouth. It doesn't crash, but it doesn't seem to do anything. When I observed the actor, there are no spare object groups, just 0040. It's possible it's part of Jabu Jabu, but it has no significance other than possibly what is assumed... a possible shader to Lord Jabu Jabu? I'm tempted to attach this code to Lord Jabu Jabu somehow... perhaps its beta code doesn't work in this game anymore, or it just needs to be Linked it Jabu's model. It could be possible that it was used to render Lord Jabu Jabu's model before it was loaded into the map. That being said, I'll have to dig through it, and attempt expanding Jabu's AI to insert the code, reconfiguring it to work. If I finish my work early today, I'll look into it tonight.
  11. ovl_Scene_Change uses JAL 0x800C69CC, which allocates graphics.
  12. I'm not sure why it references the bars, but it kind of makes sense. Think of how the doors "slide" up? Perhaps the bars use the animation. I'm observing the unknown actor over it, and I still can't see anything obvious to me. As for how the door works, Gohma uses it too, so I guess it's just because of the animation, and possibly the collision data? (Although likely not the collision)
  13. Here's the deal, actor 002E is recently confirmed to use multiple object references, not just the 0001 group. Reference ovl_Door_Shutter.zactor: Actor Number: 002E - Wooden Metal Studded Lifting Door Groups: 0001 - Gameplay_keep objects (or dungeon) 0037 - Phantom Ganondorf objects 0096 - Jabu Jabu objects From 0037, the gate is referenced with 06012AB0, which in object_gnd.zobj points to the bars, which are part of the boss battle with Phantom Ganondorf. From 0096, Jabu Jabu's dungeon doors are referenced by 06000590, which references the red guts textured doors, and 06006460 points to the webbing that bars Jabu Jabu's doors/valves. Anyone looking into importing dungeon objects should be aware of this, as changing groups of a dungeon room to 0096, or even possibly 0037, will force the regular dungeon doors to morph into Jabu Jabu's door and Phantom Ganondorf's bars respectively. Other groups: 001C - Gohma's Door 0036 - Deku Tree objects 00B0 - object_bdoor (boss door) And the list goes on...
  14. I guess it would be safe to say that Twinrova brainwashed them, but what about Termina? Is there a possibility that the good witches were not all that good?
  15. I wish I was, but I've been busy. I don't know what to do during my holidays, but maybe I'll contemplate on this story seeing as I'm at a deadlock for other things. My concern is the flashbacks I might get, so I'll wait and see what I can remember. I remember an incident in Kindergarten, something really perverted. You think 10 year olds are having sex? There was a boy in my class touching girls under their skirts under the desks during class. I'm trying to remember when certain events happened, and how to word them properly. EDIT: I updated the other part of chapter 2, you can find it added to my previous post from where I talk about the little girl I met in Elementary School.
  16. Here's an interesting thought here: Zant has a symbol that resembles the Gerudo symbol. Zant controls the people of the Twilight Realm, and even turns his own people into those monsters that fall from the portal to kill Link. Perhaps this symbol is a mask, or some form of alternate religion in Zelda that involves some kind of mind control??? It's not like there's a mask around like this (fuck, maybe there is) so perhaps it's a religion, like witch craft. I mean, the chances of a mask being in the Twilight Realm, or maybe it's linked to the Twilight Realm somehow?? Also, I know the design is different, but that could be a design thing... also, the similarities of warping the same people (such as Zant does) is somehow linked to this.
  17. Yeah, you can SAY they were aware the whole time, but what about when Nabooru is broken out of the armor, and goes "What happened?" She didn't look at all aware to me. Okay, so Twinrova were good witches then, but uhhhhh... that was before he turned adult and had to kill them. This also happens before Nabooru gets captured, because this is in an alternate timeline. This is a scenario after time when Link goes back to warn the King about Ganondorf's rein of terror. So this leaves Ganondorf and Twinrova out. But wait, then I can't connect Ganondorf and Twinrova to this, yet they can still work for Nabooru's capture. That leaves it up to Gerudos in Termina because Ganondorf can't be there, he was "killed" by the King. Twinrova became good witches probably because Ganondorf never met them, or because Ganondorf's deal was finished when he was killed anyways. But where do Gerudos brainwashing Gerudos fit in? Do you suppose they brainwash special Gerudos? The ones we see in the armor with crystals? Maybe they brainwash any of the elite Gerudos? Perhaps because they brainwash elite Gerudos when they reach their peak, and Nabooru was likely one of those elite because of her jewelry, which leaves me to suspect she was the only elite Gerudo to not be brainwashed because, at the time, she refused to work for Ganondorf. Yet how, do you suppose, the Gerudos brainwash other Gerudos? I wonder if Nintendo left a clue, somewhere, in the Gerudo area? Perhaps there is something overlooked in the Spirit Temple. I would suppose that there would be a certain item involved in this somehow.
  18. Well yes, it doesn't have its creepiness value to some of us, but it should be fine for those who don't know about it. If you see anything that could sound creepier, point it out. I know that the ending makes a good impression. This Youtube channel gets a lot of Pokemon creepypastas, so this one might be fresh enough to work. I had a good feeling about it writing it. Although, since you mention MM, would that mean Ganondorf had something to do with that? Or maybe Nintendo just decided to recycle the model without thinking about the background. I mean, if they scrapped the idea of brainwashed Gerudos (which I find unlikely) then the Iron Knuckles in MM might be out of place. Or, we can theorize that Termina is just an alternate parallel, and Gerudos in Termina happen to have all turned into Iron Knuckles. I believe there was Gorons and Zoras, but no Gerudos in Termina... any ideas for that one? It's possible that the Skullkid brainwashed the Gerudos too somehow, but recycling the enemy sounds like a more likely scenario. It's not like Nintendo to be consistent with that.
