  1. Unfortunately, I am still very busy IRL, so I still can't help as well as I would like. I can help as story help and concept artist again, though.
  2. Well... Nngh... I suppose I could learn a thing or two about the actual art of CG, besides the very limited I know with ZBrush. I might even dabble in some Blender3D if it's straight forward enough. But I'm unsure if it would even be possible for me to make even a crappy game in Unity unless I have a rather massive team of good people working on it with me. It's not that I can't see the benefits of a next-gen sort of game in comparison to an old SNES sort of game, but it'll just be twice as monumental to figure out. Then again... I suppose this IS just a very casual hobby right now, so I don't entirely have to run around searching for a team this very second...
  3. Well, as it stands right now, any idea for game design is just random spouts of small ideas running around in my mind. At the moment, I'm just milling around with ZBrush, sculpting characters and props. At the moment, the game design is still pretty much the same: a top-down 2.5D Zelda game with 3D sprites. That will probably make a rather piss-poor feeling game on Game Maker; and I'm still trying to fight back the thought of how much work it will bee for me to pose every individual animation point in about eight different directions, but hopefully if I find anyone good with Game Maker and scripting (hopefully someone like THAT is on this forum somewhere whose interested) it'll live up to my expectations for a good game! I'd be very thankful to have your input on the game, Spire, in any form. This project will probably stay a very casual project until I get a team to help in the major gameplay design, unlike last time when it was only you, me, and Sucumbio building this monster (Sucumbio was the head game-designer, and he didn't even know how to use GameMaker, which was a nightmare).
  4. Sorry to resurrect a thread as old as this, what, with it being from halloween of last year and all... But I might resurrect this project. It'll probably not get very far knowing myself and how I never finish projects, but I'll still give it a try. And hopefully, if I can get enough interest out of some people around this forum, I could recruit them to the cause, and maybe even get it to be an actual game! Right now, though, I'm just gonna make some characters and art and see how that goes.
  5. My favorite Jedi was Kitt Fisto!
  6. Ruto's already kinda like that. Imagine Kotake and Koume like that!
  7. I think the only game I have ever speed ran was Donkey Kong Country 1. In comparison to other people who speed run the game, my record is probably not all that good. But I DID beat the game in less than an hour only losing about two lives. All my friends who were watching it were very impressed, because I was renown for being absolutely terrible at video games at the time, and yet I blew them away with my mad skills at Donkey Kong! As for Zelda games, I dunno if I would ever want to speed run them. I mean, platformers are okay and even fun to speed run, but Zelda is like a really fancy chocolate to me. I only get to have a fancy chocolate once or twice a year, and when I do, I savor the shit outta that fancy chocolate! The same with Zelda. If I wanna play a Zelda game, I'll make a big deal out it and savor every second. I might even buy a fancy chocolate for the occassion!
  8. Sounds like a gimmick to get more money. In order to play old games, I have to purchase some kindof cancerous tumor-machine to hook up and mount to my new XBox? No thank you.
  9. It's not a drawing, per say.... But it was made with a Wacom Tablet, so... It's KINDA like drawing! THE HEAD OF A CREEPY HUMAN TINGLE! I made this a long time ago, so... I dunno if the cheek bones are in the right place or anything. He still looks alright, I think.
  10. This is exactly how I am 100% of the time. My mind is filled to the BRIM with ideas for things like games, comic books, art, music, and other things. The only problem is that whenever I actually START the project, it's either not to my liking, or I come up with ANOTHER Idea that takes over my concentration. It's mind-numbing and annoying. Unfortunately for me, is that I have never gotten a project done. Out of the thousands I've come up with, none of them have been finished, most of them never even see the light if day. But if I COULD finish a project, it would be fantastic!
  11. Maybe Buzz Lightyear will make a cameo appearance in the mos eisley cantina.
  12. Afro samurai. I dunno what else to say.
  13. ... Strangely enough, that might actually be an enjoyable film.
  14. I was just thinking about this, and what would happen to my beloved Monkey Island now that Disney has their grubby little hands on LucasArts. I was kind of aware that I would probably never see another decent Star Wars game again (even though there HASN'T been one since Jedi Outcast), but poor Guybrush! How will he fare in this change of power!
  15. ...NO! NOO! *tears clothing*
  16. I don't remember much about the GameCube, but I DO remember Super Mario Sunshine. I know you said youre sick of Mario in the past, but this is bar-none one of my favorite games of all time. It does a great job portraying a vacationy feel during the entire game. It's controversially known as the black sheep of the Mario Franchise, which I don't understand in the slightest... I assume because it has voice acting and has the occasional hick-up in game design. But I recommend it to anyone.
  17. Spoiler alert: This is M. Night Shyamalon's wet dream come true... An entire game based on PLOT TWISTS!
  18. If Microsoft can't advance their machine a little better, I believe it could be in serious trouble. My Xbox red-ringed last year (which seems strange that a console could just die like that... My Snes still works fine, and I've had it since I was five.) so I bought a brand new one along with a Wii U as a special Christmas gift to ME! It took me forever to even get the damn thing set up, thanks to the metric shit ton of required information and KINECT which I cant/wont ever use because my room is shaped weird and I don't wanna move my heavy-ass couch just because I wanna play Kinectamels. It wouldn't even let me use the giant 255GB addon memory block I used to have on my old Xbox because the KINECT Xbox is not shaped right, so I lost ALL my game information! The Wii U was an absolute sinch to set up, and I got to keep all my game information from my old Wii!
  19. ... What?! Girls play games still?! I thought they quit after Nintendo quit making Cooking Momma. Gna-HAH!
  20. I'm just the happy-go-lucky neighbor with a fishing hat. *goes back into my house, whistling a merry tune.*
  21. I remember that I once made a Zelda collecters card for Igos Du Ikana. It looked awesome! I wonder where it went...
  22. *peeks over the fence* Well, hi dee ho, neighbor! *spouts wisdom that helps further lead to understanding in family values*
