  1. I DO miss the cell-shaded look to everything, especially on the characters. But it's refreshing to know that they are going to keep the older games alive.
  2. ... Anyone know how to get Mystical Ninjas starring Goeman to work without the characters' faces messed up and the game crashing constantly?
  3. ... I've never been more excited for a remake in my life.
  4. Basically anything Miyazaki worked on. Totoro, Spirited Away, Howel's Moving Castle. I'm not a huge fan of anime as a whole, though. Just Miyazaki.
  5. Why would Wario and Waluigi let people die that owe them money? That means they don't get the money!
  6. Here's a drawing I did in attempt to get into the URA project as a character concept artist. He was supposed to be a Dark World NPC, and he was basically just a guy made entirely of lava, or... Lava-esque materials. Sadly, Zeth said that they already had a bunch of concept artists, and didn't need any more. Ah well. Maybe next time!
  7. I dunno. I think a huge, angry, raging beast of a woman would be a hilarious villain. Especially for a Wario/Waluigi game.
  8. Gandalfr because it sounds like a wizard! "Doug" or "Hey Arnold"?
  9. She needs to be a disgusting, terrible woman, who kidnaps the Mario brothers for her collection of ornamental husbands which she keeps in snow-globe type cases on her giant shelf! Her... "OrnaMen", as it were.
  10. Right now, I just hope some games for the Wii U come out that are actual games instead of reimaginings of other games with new content such as BatMan and Mass Effect. I love the new Wii U, but after you play the three games that are actually original to it, it begins to collect some dust. Plus I'm not gonna spend my money for the wii U version of games I already have.
  11. 6: tell people that they didn't play Wind Waker right.
  12. ... WHAT DICK?! OooooOOOOOOOh snap!
  13. You've obviously never worked on a large project before. A project like this is run not by a large budget corporation, with hundreds of people working around the clock to reach a deadline. From what I can tell, there are about ten people in total working on a very interesting hobby of theirs, which they are decent enough to share with people like you. And like all hobbies, there is appropriate times to work on it, and sometimes other things get in the way. There is no deadline, because there is no reason for it. The trailer will get done when the people working on the project feel like finishing it. Which might not be right now. Hell, it might be a LONG time. You aren't helping it get done by being an impatient asshat, swearing and spamming the forums.
  14. You mean those three that only appeared in or around Lake Hylia? It doesn't SCREAM plethora, to me. I didn't have anything against Lake Hylia in that game, quite frankly, it was my favorite place... Mostly because it was the only place to actually do anything. Everywhere else in the game was sorrowfully devoid of life, and often boring to even traverse through. Meh, you got me there. It's not really good "character development" when you are forced to stay on route, and cannot stray too far because of giant black walls. Honestly, I couldn't give two shits about the kids, on account that they kept stealing my stuff and getting in trouble. I couldn't explore, even the slightest bit outside the "zone" I spawned in to explore. In Ocarina of Time, you could go almost anywhere you wanted after you left Kokiri Woods. In fact, the castle instantly closes before you can even Go to the next destination, so that you WILL explore the other places. Twilight Princess was suffocating in that aspect. I like EVERY Zelda game besides this one, because even if they borrowed from other games, they at least were original. My point was that this game borrowed itself into existence. Aside from some details (Of which I LIKED, mind you, such as Midna... even though she was basically Navi) it was all taken from other games. I regret nothing.
  15. I don't remember ANY island in WW to be completely the same as the other islands. I think that was the point of the islands. See, unlike TP, there was actually things to explore in WW, which is why I am saying: You obviously weren't playing it right. See, if you played it right, you would find out that there was actually stuff to do in the overworld, despite it being slightly redundant. Hell, I'd rather it be redundant then be a huge expanse of land that I just wanted to skip entirely. You couldn't even explore TP's overworld when you wanted to. When first you even see Hyrule Field, you have to instantly turn on your sense power, which completely blacks out the environment. And once you finally collect every single bug-tear, Midna would make it so you can just teleport away. Nice game mechanic. In OoT, despite it being an empty blot of land, you were actually excited to get there! There was build-up to that very point! There was a world outside of the Lost Woods! None of your Kokiri race has ever seen it! In TP, there was build-up just like in OoT, but when you leave the forest and go to hyrule field, you feel instantly inclined to rush out and save those kids. Perhaps I would have liked it a bit more if that damn sense power wouldn't make everything black. So far, all you've even used as an argument is "Well you say TP had problems? Look at all the OTHER Zelda games' problems, and they're just the same!" Well, perhaps Nintendo shouldn't have incorporated every flaw of gameplay from other Zelda games into one massive soup-pot and made a game with it. The fatal flaw of TP is that it took too much from the other Zelda games. It was like the Frankenstein's monster of Zelda games, being created by the dead little bits of tissue from it's past predecessors. It was uninspired gaming, with not much of it's own creativity to sell us. I spent the entire game saying "Oh, this game mechanic is a lot like ALTTP" or "Oh, this game mechanic was a lot like MM". Perhaps all the other games had some flaws like in TP, but that was because they had it first, and TP just copied it. :\
  16. Do I get to make GROWN MEN CRY?!
  17. I actually didn't find anything bland at all about Wind Waker. In fact, it gave you TONS to do, I thought, as you traversed the ocean. You must not have been playing it right. There were puzzles, islands, fortresses, watch-towers, giant octorocs. Not to mention the thousands of treasure sights. Then out comes a NEW game, one that should have learned from it's predecessors and improved on it: a HUGE overworld with about five trees, and bugs to catch. ... And chu jellies. See where I'm getting at? I don't need SCENERY. Scenery is nice and all, it adds atmosphere, but it doesn't provide the slightest bit of fun. In fact, the word that best describes TP in my mind is "bland". I just wasn't moved.
  18. It is curious to me that TP is your favorite Zelda, yet you bad-mouth OoT like it is the most overrated game in history. After all, TP was Nintendo's way of trying to bring back the spirit of OoT. Hell, even GANON showed up at the end! I mean... I didn't hate it. It just brought absolutely nothing to Zelda. The temples were often boring and generic (except for yeto's house. That's one of my favorite temples ever.), the story was A LINK TO THE PAST, and the art style was just... Not the best. It is one of the few reasons I'm not as big a fan of Zelda as I used to be, quite frankly. It was just... Blegh. Not my favorite. Sorry if you can't understand it, but it's true.
  19. OoT also was about 10 years old by the time TP came out. If the over world was empty in OoT, it was because it was their first try at a 3d game. TP was empty for NO reason. It was far bigger then OOT's over world, but with less in it. Far less. Also no other Zelda that I can recall had me collect anything in a tedious manner such as TP. If I had to collect anything, it was to refill my items. Any other form of collection was built into the story effortlessly, so I didn't have to feel like I was collecting anything. The tears, however, we're unnecessary, and more a manner of annoyance then actual gameplay. I also kind of hated it's atmosphere. It was really bland, color-wise.
  20. If it makes you feel any better, I still sucked at it.
