Conker
Let's make a nice place to discuss this where it won't be off-topic, yeah? So, people, thoughts?
Forecast
I consider all three laws to be ridiculous, as they're just the same thing just with different acronyms. Expect the Supreme Court to bootstomp them like they did with the other two previous attempts at passing such a law, though you can never trust anybody related to the US Gov these days. Сʀɪѕɴ
I know it's over, but I feel that I have to say, "Mike's approach to 'Anti-SOPA' was pretty pathetic. A child coud have done better, much better." TotalHalibut had the right idea, views, and approach to fighting this horible bill. Not to mention British people have the best demeanor. duckofchaos
Sopa is not dead, only postponed. PIPA and ACTA are still alive and well. It is not over yet. While it is great that SOPA and PIPA have been getting so much critisism, I find it unsettling how ignored ACTA is. The bill is worse than SOPA, and has a much higher chance of actually passing. Aedus
I am surprised Avaaz hasn't been doing more to fight these bills. I've seen only a single petition so far making a public outcry against SOPA which got 1.2 million signatures. Considering Avaaz is often involved in European affairs regarding suppression of freedom, shouldn't they be acting against ACTA as well?
Non-epic
ACTA is a lot worse, it involves all countries that sign it, and is a lot tougher.
