Glancing down, he suddenly realised that in his fright, he had thrown his arms around the jester, in a childlike manner of seeking protection. His cheeks reddened and he released Nights at once. Man, I'm such a wuss. Here's someone that exists in an entirely different world, who has been displaced, but trying to remain strong... and I'm whimpering over a storm? Not just of storms, but of what happened. When I saw you again in Casinopolis, I was trying to obtain the Chaos Emeralds to prevent their god from attaining his full power and wreaking havoc on everything. However, I failed. He nearly destroyed everything, and I had no choice but to harness the infinite power of the emeralds. I felt so much power, and I managed to quell his rage. But I still dream about what could have happened." His eyes panned back up, and met with the nightmaren's. "But finding you, makes me remember when I used to have nightmares as a hoglet.
