Conker
Yep, that's right! This guy did it by running the Wii U in its Wii mode, and by using Comex's Stack Smash hack. 8D
Secant
inb4 wet pants from all the other staff members I'm pretty surprised this was found so soon after the Wii U's launch. Then again, basically everything about it has surprised me; I'm still chuckling to myself that those poor Japanese children won't have the console for nearly another three weeks. Jotokun
Nice bonus for early adopters. That Wii backwards compatibility mode looks really tacked on... hopefully its as easily exploited as a real wii is. At the very least, this particular exploit doesnt look likely to be patched considering how long its been out. Makes me wonder if native homebrew will occure via breaking out of the sandbox rather than through a purely native approach, at least initially. Armos
I knew there would be a Homebrew hack for the Wii U when it was released. xD "Sarcasim"
Issus
Interesting, wonder how long it will take until you can run wii and wii u games properly. It didn't take so long for the wii to run games on homebrew when it came out so i wonder.
