Airikita
Playing around with Zelda Ocarina of Time Debug rom, I noticed this interesting thing: Also, items are active on Epona... you can't really see it, but Link has his sword out in his hand in this shot. Also, notice how the map icon is a darker, stronger green than in the official game. Even in Debug the map isn't that green! Here's an official game screenshot: It seems as though the intro contains some beta content/features removed from the official game... even though it's still "there". Also, entering Kokiri Forest warps you to Lost Woods (Zora's River entrance).
Arceny
Strange... what will this mean to the hacking community? (Explain in layman's terms, please; a guy can't know everything! [can he?])
Zeth Ryder
All the cutscenes contain old exit data, so they lead to odd places. Though during my beta search, I have found that mido's house use to be the House of Twins's house across from the shop. Saria's house didn't exist and the house of twins use to connect to mido's current house location. Also the know it all brother's house use to be mirrored. Like when you play MQ on the 3DS and enter the house, that's how it use to be in OOT originally.
Airikita
I also just found out that the beta orange pot "ovl_En_Vase" was the old concept to the pot enemy that flies at you. "En" as opposed to "Obj" in the "ovl_Obj_Tsubo" file, which is the normal pot. So I guess Nintendo was originally going to make the flying pots look different, but scrapped the idea? It may take some comparisons in the code to the enemy pot and the beta orange pot to confirm this... but I am not skilled enough at assembly... nor do I know if there will be any significant code in the ovl_En_Vase as the actor doesn't do very much... of course, there could be some broken relocations in the file. spinout
ovl_En_Vase is the simplest actor in OoT. The only code it ever calls is a display list rendering function. It was rewritten in C. https://www.google.com/search?q=ovl_en_vase
