Diggs looked around, before he got a familiar smell in his noise that smelled like the oil that had been spilled on the bridge that him and Link were on before they had to go through that sudden fall that caused Link to get injured.

He growled, as he was facing the same masked Bulbin from before, as it turned to face him.

Midna laid her small hands on the gray green wolf, as she carefully tried to heal him, trying to fix his body up so he could at least get around.

---

Diggs slashed at the Bulbin, as it didn't even seen to fight back, as the pack of arrows was thrown across the air, before landing in the pool of water a bit away.

"Now, let's catch up to your little boyfriend and get this over with."

Midna disappeared into his shadow, as he limped towards the direction Diggs ran into.

----

Diggs was on top of the monster, growling a bit.

"Tell me. Who are you working for? Why have these people trying to avoid killing me? Tell me right now!"

The Bulbin stared up at him in contempt, but suddenly realised the truth.

"You're... forgive me... I am under the orders of Master King Bulbin not to harm you. He received his orders from that strange Twilight guy... as well as some strange voice. But, I have a question for you."

The Bulbin glanced to the side.

"Why have -you- been destroying -us-?"

-----

Link limped his way along, wondering where his beloved could have gotten to.

Eyes narrowing, the Bulbin glared up at his assailant.

"He who aids the traitor of the King of Twilight? We were under orders to kill him. Everyone but you is insignificant. Also, had I known it was you with him on the bridge, I wouldn't have set it alight."

The Bulbin glanced to the side again.

"I apologise for my actions, but my orders are absolute... and unless my King tells me, I cannot alter my actions."

Diggs felt his eyes widen, as he backed away from the Bulbin... he... he was a Twili? He was related to the people who were trying to swallow the world of light in shadows?

"You talk too much, stupid thing..."

The chestnut wolf was barely able to react as claws from a creature slashed into the Bulbin's chest, instantly piercing it. He looked up, finding Midna was sitting on top of a bird like creature, having controlled it to attack the thing that Diggs' couldn't.

Diggs didn't respond, his body was shaking a bit from the knowledge he had just gained...

Twili... he was a Twili... important enough that the King of Shadows didn't want him to die... important enough that his mama brought him out of the Twilight and brought him to live in the world of the light...

"I think he's just a bit shaken up, Link... let's get you two to the spring of the other light spirit so you can get this over with."

She brought the Shadow Kargarok to pick Diggs up, before they flew off into the air.

Diggs was whimpering a bit.

"I'm a Twili... I'm a part of the Twilight that has been taking over the world recently... heheh... I guess it makes sense... why I can talk to animals and Bokoblins and stuff... why I'm so strong... w-why I... couldn't awaken the boomerang... it's funny, isn't it?"

Link was surprised to hear this revelation, but when he heard Diggs downtalking himself, he growled softly.

"No... you may be a Twili, but that doesn't change things. You and I... you're still my soul mate. I love you, no matter what you are. You will always be the one for me. This just makes you all the more special to me."

Diggs stared at him, as tears bubbled in his eyes... only Link could say something like that to him, and he knew it wasn't a lie.

"I'm sorry... I guess all of this has just been too overwhelming to me... I love you... I just don't wanna picture myself hurting you or anyone I care about in the world of light..."

"No, Diggs... you may have been born in the twilight, but the world of light is your home..."

Link's voice had changed again. His eyes were once again a deep red, but within moments, they had changed back, and he once more had the echo to his voice.

"I love you... and nothing will change that."

Diggs noticed, before he felt a shiver go through his spine.

"I dun get it, this place wasn't so cold the last time we were here..."

"Well, we arrived near the issue of why there is less water around Lake Hylia."

Link and Diggs found themselves facing the area in front of them that held most of the flow of water that would lead to the center of the lake was completely frozen.

"How else? You both follow me up~"

Midna sing-songed as she helped the two wolves up platforms, making sure they both found a strong ground as they headed upwards towards the frozen Zora Domain.

Diggs had Link resting on his back because of his limp, the older having Link bite against his scruff in order to keep his balance.
