Shadow Fire
Link gave a gasp as he saw the events of times long past play in his mind. As it ended, he dropped to his knees, finding Lanayru had vanished. "What... the hell?"
Sollux Captor
Diggs reached out, as he brought his arms tightly around Link, giving a small squeeze. "Come on... let's get this over with so we can save the prince and get the last Fused Shadow..." Diggs pulled Link along, heading away from the lake, though a few things were still bothering him... when they did rid of the world of the Twilight that was plaguing them... what would happen to him? Would he stay here in the world of the light, or would he have to go back to the same world that Midna was from? He didn't want to live without Link... Shadow Fire
Link smiled, proceeding with Diggs, before stopping. "Hey..." he mumbled. "Queen Rutela spoke of her son needing help. It could be that Zora child... in Castle Town. Maybe we should head there?"
Sollux Captor
"Yeah, that's where I figured we were heading. Come on. The sooner we have to run into Ilia, and help the Zora prince... the sooner we can leave." He mumbled softly... he wasn't looking forward to seeing Ilia at all... Shadow Fire
Link gave a soft sigh as he pulled Diggs along, but in his mind, something bothered him. Those visions... seemed so familiar somehow...
Sollux Captor
It had taken a while, but the two had finally made it back to Hyrule Castle Town... From what he remembered, there was a Tavern where a older woman was looking after Ilia and the Zora prince... it was around the South Road of Hyrule Castle Town if he remembered correctly. Shadow Fire
"Diggs..." the teen mumbled. "Try not to do anything silly. We may not be fond of her, but we owe Bo a lot..." The blond cast a slight smile over at his brunet lover.
Sollux Captor
Diggs didn't say anything, as they came to a place called Telma's Bar, as he opened the door, only to have an old man almost run into him, as he managed to get out of the way in time, as he gave a beady little stare at the two boys from behind his glasses, before heading out of the door. Shadow Fire
Link watched as Ilia raced over, begging for the doctor's help, before staring sadly at Link. Without even a word, she turned away and headed back over to the Zora boy. This is strange... she doesn't seem to know who we are...
Sollux Captor
The woman who was known as Telma seemed to muse, having her little white kitty by her feet. "Well, this isn't good. A human doctor won't do, huh... That old coot reminded me, though... I've heard of a shaman in Kakariko Village, in the Eldin lands, who's tended Gorons and Zoras." Diggs looked over at Link... Renado would be able to help the Zora prince, and then things would be a little easier to get Link into the Waterbed Temple.
Shadow Fire
Link watched as Hylian soldiers professed that they would escort the three to Kakariko Village, until Telma told Ilia about the monsters that scoured the lands. Within moments, all the Hylians had fled. Hmph... cowards...
Sollux Captor
"Cowards! Don't EVER show your faces here again!" Telma hissed in their direction as they fled out of the room, before she looked over, seeing the two young men standing by the door, one wearing metal gloves and the other with a sword. "Oh my! Looks like we've got two young fighters left! And not only that, but it looks like these brave young man will escort us, so get ready to go, honey. Pronto!" Diggs didn't say anything as Ilia picked herself up, and hurried off to get herself ready for the trip to Kakariko Village, feeling himself twitch a little for having to do this until they heard Telma talk. "You know that girl, don't you? It's a real shame... She can't even remember her own name right now. Bless her heart... She found this poor boy collapsed in the road, so she did all she could to save him. More courage in that girl than in all the soldiers of Hyrule, for sure! You lend your strength to her, you hear me?" That caught Diggs off guard... Ilia... no wonder she wasn't insulting him once he came through the door or trying to get him away from Link... she had lost her memory.
Shadow Fire
Link cast a glance over at Diggs, before giving a nod. Following this woman, he eventually ended up out on Hyrule Field near the Bridge of Eldin. "Maybe it's for the best..." he murmured to his beloved. "Ilia's memory I mean..." Sollux Captor
Diggs gave a little nod. "Yeah... come on, let's get this over with..." Diggs gripped onto the back of the cart, knowing he would probably need to be there cause Bulbins had a tendency to throw flaming arrows at the people and things they were chasing after. Shadow Fire
Moving beside the cart, Link reached over with a hand and caressed Diggs' face, before coming up next to Telma. "So, what's the plan?"
Sollux Captor
"You say the bridge to the west has been destroyed, huh? Then our only option is to cross the bridge to the east. You see what that means? You'll have to deal with that thing!" Diggs smiled a little. "Link can do it, I believe in him..."
Shadow Fire
Giving a slight blush as Diggs announced his confidence in Link, he glanced over at Ilia as she spoke, seeming as if she would remember, but instead telling him it was a nice name. "Uh..." he began. "...thanks."
Sollux Captor
"Alright, honey, we're counting on you." Telma smiled, allowing the blonde to go forward in order to deal with the Bulbin that was on the bridge so they could get past once it was gone. Shadow Fire
Link raced forward on Epona, suddenly bringing her to a stop. On the other side, King Bulbin smirked back at him, holding a key, which could only be for the gate to Kakariko.
Sollux Captor
Diggs gripped against the cart as he watched as Link was easily able to defeat the Bulbin that had the Kakariko gate key, before the cart trudged forward across the bridge, and throught the fields of Eldin. His eyes narrowed as he snatched his hand out, and caught a flaming arrow in his hand, snapping it in half, as he found a bunch of the creatures chasing after them. "You better be careful!" Telma called after him, as he jumped off the cart, and landed on one of the Bullbos, and drop kicked one of the Bulbins, as it was instantly knocked out, and fell off onto the ground, probably to be trampled by the others chasing them, which Diggs made quick work of the rest of them as well very quickly, the fire arrows no longer flying now that the archers had been dealt with, before he jumped back on top of the cart, the Bullbos heading off in another direction without a master to control them. Diggs settled himself back on top as Link came in front of the gate to Kakariko, and unlocked it, allowing them to head back into the village where Renado and the kids were staying. Shadow Fire
With a soft sigh, Link watched as the Zora prince was taken into Renado's care. "That was a little close..." he said softly, glancing around the village. "I wonder what will happen now..." Suddenly he heard the door open behind him, and footsteps moved closer to him. Sollux Captor
"Nice to see there's still hope here. And it's always good to see happy results repay your efforts... Those skills of yours... Any chance you're of the mind to put them to use for Hyrule? What hope there is in our kingdom is frail and dying...but there's still a group trying to do what it can. And I'm a member of that group. Call me Telma. I may just stay here a bit longer. I'm still worried about Ilia, and... Well, never mind about the rest. Link, I want to see you again at my bar, you hear me? The bar is actually a kind of safe house for my friends. There's a passageway that leads to the castle from in there, as well.If you ever need something, stop by, I'll be waiting for you, honey!" Diggs blinked as Telma walked away, as he set his arm around the other's shoulder, and gave him a soft kiss on the cheek.
Shadow Fire
Link gave a slight gasp as Telma blew a kiss, before winking and running off to join Renado. "Did she..." he began, before shaking his head. "I won't worry about it. Probably her way of being nice. Anyway, we sh-..." Giving a soft blush at Diggs' kiss, Link was about to give his love a kiss of his own when suddenly, he noticed a glowing nearby, and saw the ghostly form of Queen Rutela. As he took a step, he watched the ghost float away.
Sollux Captor
Diggs found Link pull from his arms, and hurried off towards the graveyard, leaving him standing there, seeming confused. Had Link seen something just then? Queen Rutela led Link through the village, towards the special spot where her husband had been buried before she had died. Shadow Fire
As he ran through the graveyard, he saw Queen Rutela pass through the rock face, a strange stone with the Zora insignia disappearing to show a hole that he could crawl through. When he did, he glanced around. The Zora queen was positioned next to a big tombstone.
