Diggs undid the last belt and tossed his jacket aside, bare chest visible, his muscles visible, as he tightened the squeeze his gloves hand on his hands, before he crouched down to be in the stance he remembered well when he sparred against Bo, his ears twitched in delight since he knew Link was watching.

"Ready? Fight!"

Coron was the first to make a move, but Diggs quickly moved out of the way, causing the Goron to stumble forward a bit, as the chestnut smacked the other in the stomach to catch him off guard, as he grabbed him and pushed him backwards.

The other Gorons watched in amazement at this sight... he was a normal human... and he could push a Goron back like it was nothing.

Link watched in total awe as his lover managed to easily make short work of Gor Coron, knocking him out of the ring within 6 short seconds.

He really was going easy on me when we wrestled. He could have snapped me in half.

Having thought that, Link was first afraid, but only a few moments later, he shook the thought away, his cheeks going pink at the sight of fresh sweat trickling down his boyfriend's chest.

Diggs brushed the dust off his hands, giving a little lick against his lips. It had been a while since he did that... now he could see why Bo wasn't much of a challenge to him without his boots on.

Young warrior... You have a strong will...and sharp eyes. Fine traits... Want to see how well you can use them?"

Diggs was slipping his vest back on as Link went over to him as they listened to what Coron had to say.

You have seen it, I would bet... The mountain, erupting without pause... When the mountain began to rage, all four of us elders and Darbus, our patriarch, went inside to investigate its anger. We have a treasure that was entrusted to us by the spirits, and we must protect it. Do you understand? But the moment Darbus reached out and touched the treasure...everything went wrong. He collapsed...and before our very eyes transformed into an unspeakable monster! He began to rage through the mines, trailing ruin behind him...and the eruptions grew more frequent and more severe. We used all of our strength to seal him deep inside the mountain... It...grieved us to do this to our patriarch...but we had no other course of action. I ask this favor of you, young warrior... Go to the aid of Darbus! Make no mistake, the spirits have guided you here. I, Gor Coron, need your help... On behalf of my entire clan, I ask of your aid! ...You two! Let the young warriors pass!

A small murr escaped from the older male, as he brought his arms tightly around the other's shoulders, giving a comforting squeeze.

"Excuse me!"

Both of them jumped as they heard a voice that hasn't spoken up in a while, as they looked over, seeing a rather peeved looking Midna in her shadowy form.

"As great as it has been seeing you two eating each other's faces, the second Fused Shadow is in this place, and I am not a fan of being in a volcanic crater so stop flirting for 5 minutes and get moving!"

She huffed before disappearing into their shadows once more.

Link scowled at Midna's tone, giving an exasperated breath.

Well, excuuuse me, princess...

Taking Diggs' hand, Link began walking through the room.

You won't interrupt me once this is done, Midna. Like it or not, Diggs is my soul mate, and I am bonded to him. When we get Fused Shadow number 2, Diggs... I want you... again.

Diggs felt his ears twitch softly as he heard the tone in Link's voice.

He could tell Link sounded a bit distracted if not upset.

Sure, Midna wasn't to blame for the Twilight being spread across the land they lived in, and for being part of the Twilight, she was actually helping them try and stop it from spreading like it had been. But it made one wonder why she was bothering to stop it from shrouding the world of light unlike the one who called himself the king of shadows. And why did she seem to have a slight upset expression whenever the two of them were in her words 'eating each other's faces'?

Wonderful, the second temple, and now Diggs was the one lost in his own thoughts.

  • 3 weeks later...

Diggs managed to look up, before something surprised him, as he lashed his hand out, and stopped Link, before a blaze of flesh burning fire was bursting out of a pipe ahead of them.

"Be careful... even a chosen hero isn't invulnerable to being set on fire... let's find the switch to turn it off."
