Hello! This here is a topic to explain the project that this is:; Super Mario Galaxy 2.5! Super Mario Galaxy 2.5 is a project that recreates the whole adventure of Super Mario Galaxy 2. In this hack of SMG2, here are the new things you will see prior to the completion of this project:
*Brand New Galaxies, all 49 galaxies will be original!
*New HUB, we are thinking of making a Mega Shroomship but it is TBD.
*New World Maps
*New Music
*New Textures
*And much more!
The reason why I gave a shout out to this project here is the lack of its progress, we desperately need more contributors. We are in need of 3D Modelers, ASM Programmers, Level Designers, Level Creators, and Composers! Our level editor is called Whitehole, it is not difficult to use and you see the in-game models to help you edit the levels. You can see our forum and website here: http://kuribo64.net/?page=smg25
Here is a Youtube video to see a Beta preview of this project (There is also a demo as well.):
The admins of this project are Glem3 and Mega-Mario. If you have any questions or concerns, please refer to them on the website.
Thanks and we look forward to your contributions!

Interesting.  Though I'm not seeing much of the Galaxy series' trademark wacky gravity.  Which disappoints me a bit, as I thought that was one of the best parts.

Oh. That trailer shows all beta levels. We now have a new roster of galaxies, which will have the gravity gimmicks like you mentioned.

Heheh, I usuallly don't check other forums besides Kuribo, but it's good to see you guys like it  :D

We're currently in the process of planning out another trailer, and we have quite a bit of progress on the game, mostly with designs, but we're getting modeling done too.

About the Dolphin thing, we won't support it, just Riivolution, but the aforementioned Mega-Mario who runs Kuribo, along with other projects like Whitehole, a 3D editor, is working on WiiExplorer, which should eventually make it easy to edit most of Nintendo's archives and ISOs as well, making it much more easy to insert new files if you really wanted or needed to use Dolphin.

We have quite a bit to show off, actually, but I'd rather just wait until the trailer to show off most of it, but if you liked Bob-Omb-Battlefield, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

And about the gravity comment, we do have stuff like that planned, quite a bit actually, but we also have wacky galaxies and themes, such as time, mirrors, giant fungi, giant chasms, jungles, food, and returning themes, like snowy, poison, the starball, spooky, beach, and the list goes on.

For now, here's some stuff to tide you over.

XD I was looking at the new screenshots and then scrolled down to the concept sketch, and my brain was all "Oh, wow, that's interesting graphics, I wonder what level those would be in!"

And then I figured out that was just a concept sketch. Derp.
