giadrosich
Who likes to papercraft? If so, post up your stuff you've done or stuff you're working on! Also, link to the original craft so others can try it out. I'm working on Link and Epona by Ninjatoes Link looks a bit derpy without hands, but I'm doing Epona next, so he'll look better. Edit: I noticed by complete coincidence that the manual for OOT was in the background. XD

giadrosich
I hope it doesn't count as double-posting if I post something new? *hopes* Found this thing in my older stitches, and was wondering if someone could translate it? I just followed a pattern, and I don't have the pattern anymore if it explained it.

giadrosich
Thanks, my mom taught me when I was little, but I didn't do it heavily until I was an adult. It's a nice relaxing hobby.
Airikita
Oh! This stuff is amazing! I would buy something from you if I had money. (The cross-stitch that is) I wanted to take on cross-stitch someday, and this just makes me want to do it more~

giadrosich
I've never really thought about it...it's hard to put a price on cross-stitching because of the amount of time that goes into it. The Pokeballs piece was done in about a month, and the phoenix I've been working off and on for awhile. The Geisha lady I've been working on for total time...possibly 5-6 months. So, price-wise it is very hard, because a lot of the price would come from the time. If it's smaller pieces like a bookmark or a single figure, then that would be much easier, and usually what people could afford. I would sell the Geisha lady for at least around 60-80 bucks, due to the time and materials put into it. Bookmarks you can sell at probably 1-2 dollars each, with a discount for bulk ordering probably. I dunno, it really depends on what people want. giadrosich
Well, extra cash would be nice, perhaps I can list some stuff on Etsy if people would be interested.
Mellow
Etsy would definitely be the perfect place to put that sort of trade out there. At the very least, I would definitely be interested.

Just make sure you are aware how etsy takes it's cuts, it's an intresting system, I'm not sure how I feel about it
giadrosich
Oh, how much does Etsy take? I know Ebay does 30 cents I think. Anyway, finished a little two-night project. It's a play off the "thumb war" chant that kids do. Not sure who the original creator of the poem is.

giadrosich
Took me a while, but I finally finished up my Link and Epona! Papercraft really relaxes me same as crosstitch. The worst part of this figure though was Epona's mane. My god, that mane. Sorry for the sub-par photos, lighting was a bit crap, but had all the lights on in the kitchen. These pics look really awesome in 3D though.
