wareya Posted April 15, 2013 Share Posted April 15, 2013 (edited) My time looping hack doesn't break actors' schedules. I don't know what it does to things that count the number of days, if any. I avoided running the normal "reset to day 1" routine for a reason, though. While it is probably technically possible to run the game without any of its scheduled entities (see: day 4), it's unlikely that a hack working with that would be particularly interesting. Take advantage of the game engine's features, y'know? I would've done a "loop days 1-3" hack but it wasn't feasible for me to figure out how to prevent the end of the world sequence at that time. SoulofDeity Posted April 15, 2013 Share Posted April 15, 2013 M​y debug rom of Majora's Mask has the same file and data as the normal rom of Majora's Mask, and I don't want the debug rom to interfere with my normal rom. EDIT: Never mind, the debug rom was baloney. Uh, I don't have a slight clue about that, but the day cycle will be a repeat of days 1-3 throughout the game with of course, edited NPC stuff so when the cycle starts over, nothing looks weird. The game will just repeat the days over and over, and I will edit the text of the people relating to the time limit. Also, I personally think I revealed a little bit too much on the story intro . Well, the Lost Woods has been expanded to detail the border between Hyrule and Termina. (Since Link's and Skull Kid's treehouse is in the Lost Woods, between Hyrule and Termina.) Now then, I decided to start small and edit Hyrule Field to create an entrance to one of the new locations I have planned: The Battlefield Wargrounds. This area is of course a Battlefield, where the Hylian soldiers battled(or are battling) the army of the antagonist. The entrance to that area can be found on the upper left part of Hyrule Field, as shown here: Before: After: This was quick, and obviously not final. I didn't do it now because I wanted this to be quick.
