Maybe in either ZAP, or ZLE instead of adding the actor for weather/sound effects, I think it would be nice to have a button to select what weather/sound effect to add into an area.. like fog, rain, ect. Maybe even add in the option to change the color, and density of the fog. I still can't find out how to change the color of fog with UoT, and I would like to avoid using UoT at all.

Some suggestions:
Add support for Mupen64plus (http://code.google.com/p/mupen64plus/) as it is much more functional than Reject64. Heck, you could probably integrate Mupen64 INTO ZLE itself to give it its own internal emulator. This would make it so you would only have to point ZLE to the ROM file itself.
Add support for animated texturing. (I.E. Water, smoke, Chamber of Sages floors, etc.)

Stuff like this I would LOVE to see in this. Plus, mupen integration would make it a much more streamlined program for editing.

If anything I suggested is either not possible/already done/stupid I apologise. Just trying to contribute.

My only gripe is the relative pathing. I edited the source of ZAP and ZLE 2 to include absolute pathing. I can see about digging up that source if you want JSA

Yes, please.  And thank you!

I haven't worked on this in ages, but I ALWAYS wanted to do a ZLE 2.5 release with bug fixes and error fixes.  Spinout discovered the actor spawn routines and posted them in the wiki, so  ZAP2.5 could be 100% accurate now.

I got them from you directly probably 6 to 12 months ago for my Master GUI application (which apparently was completely useless) :P

If you want to point me to that "newer" source I can simply update it with my minor changes so you have the best of both. Wouldnt take but a minute
