Nemu 64 Crash/Hylian Toolbox Crash

Question

Whenever I open up Nemu64, it gives flashes of a few small windows, and then crashes before it can really let me do anything. I cannot find out the reason for this. I am running on Windows 7 64-bit.

On the other hand, Hylian Toolbox will successfully open and load the debug rom, however, it crashes without warning once I click on one of the names in the "browse" menu to the right.

Any ideas guys?

To be honest, so am I. Here's hoping that Voyager of Time will run with PJ64 and Glide. If I even hope to get into the modding scene myself, I'll have to work out the Nemu bugs another time I guess. I'll leave this open, though, for anyone who thinks they can find a cure for this problem.

Perhaps Nemu isn't 64-bit compatible? That's really all I can think of... Well, there is one more thing.

Speaking from programming experience, most programs crash like that when trying to read/write to data that is currently not at the address specified (null pointers and whatnot). I guess what I'm trying to say is that nemu is acting as if the folder it's trying to read from (the C: drive?) does not exist or that the harddrive in general doesn't exist... maybe your security software is preventing nemu from accessing your harddrive?

I had a friend with W7 64 bit test it out, and it worked just fine. I'll troubleshoot this issue later, but right now I'm very upset over the whole matter. I've been trying things for about 3 hours, and I'm just going to take a break now and see how well that PJ64 works out.

But thank you so much for sticking around and trying to help. I will test it out again later and tell you my results. We'll see if we can't come up with anything else.

Voyager SHOULD work with PJ and glide...it was also tested well enough in Mupen 64. Here's the settings my tester used:

-video is either jabos 1.5.2 or mudlord's rice video build 6.1.3.2 All additional settings for video basically are straight off the debug video setting page. I would reccomend rice as sometimes 1.5 flakes out.
-for input, anything works really, I personally prefer the TAS input plugin 0.6 since I don't have a controller and it gives you this: http://puu.sh/2J6Im.png
-sound any, j1.6 works fine
-RSP = RSP emu plugin
general settings looks like this: http://puu.sh/2J6K0.png but i dont think it matters too much, advanced looks like this http://puu.sh/2J6L0.png again shouldnt matter too much.

The version of mupen I used was mupen64 0.5.0 rerecording-v8 and I would imagine nonTAS mupen emu would work fine.
