I have a file with adult and child link imported into them for scale. I can upload that later for you when I'm able to get on my laptop--when I use them as a starting point, I never seem to have a problem with the map turning out small then.

There's documentation somewhere on the hight of doors and such, I'll find that too in case someone doesn't post it up.

I went on the laptop real quick.

Here's young link imported in, I thought I had adult too, but meh. http://www.mediafire.com/?d3s4la4gzk5fcbx

Also, manual for sketchup, I found it useful: http://kpaccio.wikispaces.com/file/view/GSUUsersGuide-WIN.pdf

I'm still looking for the documentation on sizes of certain things, but I did find my note on a regular door: 100" high, 60" wide and 20" deep

EDIT: net posted those above

http://www.the-gcn.com/topic/724-map-modelling-tips-and-help/

1. Search for and Download TIG's Importer.

2. Make the modification listed in the topic.

Your Sketchup models will now import at a *perfect* 1-to-1 scale.  Combined with some other tools, as you can see, you can even modify existing maps.

*Edit:  No one ever follows these instructions.  I'll upload both the importer, and exporter later.*

Doing things the hard way is so much more fun though!

j/k I'll have to see if those work for me later on. I want to try a map for ZB2. >.>

I decided to use my map to make a scale for both Links. Made a map in 1.0 for SharpOcarina. I used the Child Link for the 1-1 scale and then just used Adult Link for the other size. Now I got both two perfect sizes. Thanks guys.

If you want both Adult and Link scales that are 1.0 scale in SharpOcarina, here they are: http://www.mediafire.com/?obz0vf43d78nzbn

Awesome this is great, I was always looking for a Link scale :).

Just to point it out, I think the problem here is the model units you're using to export your map, which throws off the scale. If your model units are something like feet or meters, try changing them to something lower such as inches or decimeters/centimeters, which should make it turn out correctly. Then again, this is configurable in SketchUp Pro's native obj exporter, which may not be so for TIG's exporter (in which case just remember to size up your map by about 20 times by selecting the entire thing, using the scale tool, and entering a scale factor of 20 or so).
