OOT Custom Maps?

Question

So when I try to export a custom wavefront .obj from Sketchup.pro it always looks like this in sharp ocarina:

If I just export a flat square everything is fine, but if I use the push/pull tool at all it shows up like the first picture. I made sure to reverse faces and use the same .obj for mesh and collision, I even asked a few people and watched Giadrosich's tutorial, does anyone have an idea of what's going wrong? I'm pretty new to modding so it could be something easy, but I've been stuck on this for a while now.

Gah, so THAT was the issue. We couldn't figure it out. I will update the link in the tutorial thread immediately, I just checked and it's version 0.5 that it leads to. No wonder we couldn't figure it out, I'm using 0.6 myself. I didn't realize there were different versions.

Indeed, I think I was the perfect test subject for your tutorial because I knew nothing before watching it and this is an easy trap for a noobie to fall into, I'm glad it's all getting written down lol.
