giadrosich Posted May 27, 2013 Share Posted May 27, 2013 Yoshio Sakamoto doesn't like the American made Metroid Prime series, that's why he made Other M (which pretty much retconned them). It's a shame, Metroid Prime was miles better than Other M.Retro were working on a big rpg game called Raven blade (or something) before they got told to do Metroid. Maybe that's a thing again? However, considering the name of the company, I wouldn't be a bit surprised if they're only allowed to work on older series. If Nintendo has acquired the Banjo-Kazooie license, Retro would be a perfect fit.
