Guest sakura
In some fantastic gaming news, Microsoft has canceled their plans for DRM on the XBox One.From http://www.giantbomb.com/articles/microsoft-to-pull-complete-reversal-on-xbox-one-dr/1100-4673/ What does this mean? No more always online requirement The console no longer has to check in every 24 hours All game discs will work on Xbox One as they do on Xbox 360 An Internet connection is only required when initially setting up the console All downloaded games will function the same when online or offline No additional restrictions on trading games or loaning discs Region locks have been dropped This is why it's important to let your voice be heard as a consumer. Microsoft was forced to reconsider their plans after public outcry against DRM, and abysmal preorder figures. Remember, companies are out to make a profit and to do that they need you. The strongest message you can send is "I will not buy your product". Either they listen or go out of business.
