Getting back into OoT Modding, where to start?

Hey guys, haven't been around for awhile or modded for awhile. I'm getting back into modding. "finally" I was wondering what easy steps should I take to start modding again? I have all the programs I need, etc. Where should I start? I'd like to make a basic mod.

Look through that, and also think about what you want to create.

Trying to make to my own mod, I have run in to the same question my self, and I came up with this.

I believe there are 3 steps to modding. 

1. Get your story straight.

2. Make what needs to be made (Maps, Actors)

3. Insert it into your Mod (Mod all of the maps/actors followed by the story into the game, that includes any hacks you made specially for the mod too. )

 

After that your done!

Get sketchup and sharp ocarina and make a few maps, that's one of the most easy things to start with.
