And here's some sources Alpha linked to in the description.

Thoughts?

I hope that since their troubles have been made specific and known to the public, this can light a fire under Capcom's ass and finally get them back in touch with the gaming crowd and what they want.

They may have made crap, but they put a lot of effort and money into that crap. Their fault for not asking the fans what they like, I think companies like Nintendo either just know what people like, or survey people, then improve on things (sometimes). Every company tries to "predict" the market, which is retarded because they could conduct surveys on gamers. I don't know, these companies like this are just stupid, and fall like Sega.

Nintendo hasn't always made the best of choices lately, that much is true. But they're still leaps and bounds above Capcom. I'd love it if they got the rights to Megaman; they'd do more justice with the blue bomber than Capcom has recently.

(Or better yet, if Keiji Inafune bought the rights to his own brainchild...)

...eh, Nintendo doesn't always know what people want, either.  Not by a long shot.

Oh I know that, I was doing a comparison that at least Nintendo ATTEMPTS to be good, and makes a good effort on their part. A lot of their games are super complex (such as Mario Galaxy).

Don't worry, dude.

Now that Capcom no doubt realized how much people want Megaman, we're going to be seeing a steady stream of cheap cash-grab games starring the lil' guy.

Oh well. Rest in peace, Megaman.

Well, perhaps when Capcom goes out of business, someone will buy the rights to Megaman, or it will go to a better company. Megaman still has life to him, none of the fans loss their real devotion for Megaman because of shitty spinoffs.
